Man great to be back on here, been MIA from the forums for quite some years.

Anyway, I been going over half this thread in search of your opinions with the NECA chucky. Here are my 2 cents with both the NECA and TOTS.
For the prize I think that the NECA chucky has a lot of faults, the hair is just not it at all they botched it with that one. The hands are really disproportionate to the rest of the body and look really long in my opinion. This might have a lot to do with the slim fit overalls that they gave him, way too small for him and thrown off the raggedy look. Now for the positive, they really nailed it with the paint job and expression. This is by far my favorite paint job and expression of all the lifesize dolls available (2nd was dreamrush). I also love the weathering and dirty looks of his clothes, they really did a great job on that.

Now for the TOTS.
I personally own the TOTS dolls and have this to say about them.
The pros with TOTS is that the hair is accurate, clothes are baggy as they should be and they body is proportionate to how he should be. Pretty much all the issues I have with the NECA release. I think that if this is rehauled, this has the potential to be the best chucky on the market.
The cons are that like many people mentioned, it is way too pale. Here is a comparison between the good guys shade and the SOC dolls both from TOTS (dont mind the extra Chucky in the middle, my daughter was feeling extra scary last halloween. lol). The paintjob could definitely use a lot more work to give this doll life. The clothes are baggy, but they are way too clean for my taste I would love the dirty raggedy look that the NECA doll has. The body is also a bit hard to stand up and pose as he does not stand flat on his feet.

In conclusion, they both have their faults so its really up to everyone which you would rather deal with. Me personally I plan on sending out my Chucky to be rehauled by this guy I follow on Instagram. He does really great work with Chucky rehauls and will turn your doll into a masterpiece, he is quite expensive but its the best solution for now until one of these companies gets it together and brings out a mix of these 2.

Made About Horror had it up for pre order 2 days ago but all gone.
Emporium of Cool have wait list so contact them as they emailed yesterday to find out how many people want it but need to let them know before tomorrow 5pm

I know, I got the email from MAH yesterday and carried on what I was doing, checked an hour later to pay and it was out of stock that quick lol. I emailed them and they said they should have more available for order next month

More photos with the 2 together, this time I fixed Chucky's hair to look more screen accurate. Still bummed that NECA couldn't send me a necklace for Tiffany, mine didn't include one and she just doesn't look complete without it. The lighting in my room isn't so great, but these dolls look so much better in person, photos can't do it justice.

Amazing shots!!! I got my Tiffany yesterday, she truly is incredible in person. Every time I walk past her I have to stop and have a look. Sucks about the necklace, I opened mine thinking it would be missing because I've heard about it, but mine was taped to the inside of the box. Having so many necklaces not be included in a product of this price is really really sh*tty of Neca.

I assume it's possible if he had the arm posed straight up for a long period of time. IDK why anyone would do that though. And extreme positions will likely lead to the foam tearing.

Yep, they said they'll be in touch within 24 hours
To confirm and provide me a link for payment. I can't pay till at least the 19th though, and they said that's fine.

MAH have stock of Chucky today. they also had Tiffany.
think both sold out again
EOC will get stock of Chucky on 12th.

Wow so we all kinda worried for nothing. These things keep popping back in and out of stock . Thought these were limited .
