Yeah those are the NFT ones. They look absolutely gorgeous, I'm a HUGE simp for Nomura artwork, but they're outrageously priced and I refuse to enable SE's NFT obsession out of principle.

I thought there was an option to buy without NFT for $30 less.

Went ahead with the TE Aerith. Don't own anything like this style yet, so it'll be interesting to see how it goes. :)

Whatever happened with the Super Duck Yuffie? The promos looked pretty good but it seemed like people were skeptical.

SD kits seemingly get delayed fairly often. I've bought their Sakura and Yuffie kits from OSK and both listings had a warning mentioning that they could be delayed for up to 12 months after the projected release date. Neither have arrived yet, Sakura was meant to launch in Q4 last year.

I believe that cloud is the only one with an NFT option, one with and one without which is cheaper. Tifa and Aerith don't come with NFTs thats why they're cheaper.

Yeah, its pretty much disliked universally. Square decided to sell their tombraider and another franchise to invest in NFT but after seeing the immense backlash, they decided to not invest in NFT and put all the money from the sales into their gaming development.

In regards to the figures based on the original FF7 artwork, I hope they expand the roster. Those tiny figures already cost about as much as 1/6 figures now. They should just get into the 1/6 business.

Hypothetically speaking, if SE produces GT type of standard and quality 1/6 figurines, how much do you think they will sell them for?

My guess for AC CLOUD and FENRIR, Cloud would have gone for USD$450, Fenrir probably USD$650.

Yeah I could see them easily charging USD$1K+ for the Cloud + Fenrir set if it were official. Only need to look at the P1 statue of Terra to realise they're not afraid to charge a huge premium on the FF license.

Did they actually sell any of those?

Nop , no SE. Probably 1k for the set or more

Honestly very much doubt it, early June seems plausible though. If factories are sending multiple mass production samples to GT then I'd guess we're getting close to the finish line

Cloud and Fenrir new release window is May - July 2024. Needed to readjust the paleness and a few hair spikes.

No doubt, but within that timeframe we'll see at least 15 more unlicensed Tifa statues with castoff attire.

Tifa (if we'll have her one day) will be for 2025 :banghead😅
This is why I ordered the TE Aerith... Haven't even gotten a look at GT Tifa yet officially. Thankfully we have Walter to show us behind the scenes prototype. But you know GT is going to be even more anal about how Tifa comes out, so I imagine she's a 1+ year production minimum.
