Inquisitors and Inquisitorious program such a magnificent concept and portrayed perfectly in the Jedi series video games, but in Obiwan show they're technically clowns, no more no less.

I get that they're driven by numbers but it's absolutely insane to me that they'd make ALL four inquisitors from the kenobi show yet they haven't touched the second sister from Fallen Order who is by far the most compelling character of them all (and also has an incredible design by the way). She's also well liked in the community from what I've seen. Instead, we'll get two inquisitors that might have had 10 minutes combined screen time in a show that was divisive to say the least. Yay.

They do look cool though...

It’s a tragedy that dreadful Obi-Wan show has so many figures and Andor not a single one. I guess they only make figures based on viewing figures not quality of the product.
How it went:
Marketing: So, we all know we're really in this to sell more toys and merchandise, so what you got $$$!?
FavrOni and the Disney Story Group: Absolutely, "newish" aliens, villains, troopers, ships, saber-colors-&-shapes, helmets, armor, gear, weapons, , and more cuteness, all easy derivative overhyped clutter, you can sell, but at least it looks new, right!?
Marketing: Fantastic! What about you guys?
Team Gilroy: GTFOut, we're actually just trying to tell a good story here.

Continued:
Marketing: Please Give us Something. Anything we can sell$$$!
Team Gillroy: Ok, here you go...

Is that just an ugly box? It's like they are purposely being anti-merch-gimmick, are they even trying to sell toys?
-No,
Does it at least surprisingly , unfold and transform into some fantastic fighting robot for some killer action sequence.
-No, it's literally just a box.
But there is like arms, tools, thrusters, and all kinds of unique gadgets and weapons that cleverly spring out on all sides right?
-No.
It has some creative new gyroscopic innovative propulsion, or unique hovering drive system, that we can transfer onto a toy right?
-No it's 4 basic wheels , less tech than a roomba, and if you flip it on it's side it's as helpless as a turtle.
Ok, but at least he has a great catchy name, compelling fun personality, and epic intro?.
-No, he literally gets peed on, his first scene, and is mostly depressed.
Ok they just F'ing with us.

Gilroy is a genius. Seems like a tough boss, but a genius nonetheless.

Hot Toys would be morons not to make some Andor figures. This delay has only made me want a figure or two more.

To the small number of collectors on this board Andor figures seem like a no-brainer. As far as being major sellers, I don't see how they could possibly be. They're not visually compelling, at least from my perspective. Maybe my perspective is skewed by the fact that I thought it was a good show, just not a great Star Wars show. Hot Toys will continue to pump out Jedi, troopers, Mandalorians and interesting Villains...that's where they make their money.

Yea, they are the only one who have the sales data of Jyn and Chirrut. They only made Chirrut because of Donnie Yen.

I think the reason Andor was so good was because it WASN'T a normal Star Wars show.

One complaint I see time and time again is how the galaxy is so big, yet characters keep running into each other. And while I don't mind characters bumping into each other in this big fight against the Empire, I have to agree that it's long past time that Star Wars tried to tell some stories that weren't built around the Force and lightsabers. I think that's why Mando has worked so well...when the story is competently written anyway.

Andor was great because it did so much world building and we got to see so much we hadn't seen before. Jedi/Force users have always been able to fight back against the Empire. But seeing regular people do it made it much more compelling.

I think HT will have a hard time with Andor, not because it's a great story, but because that great story is not designed to sell us clones and aliens. It's designed to tell a great story.

Honestly, I only see Cassian and Luthen being offered up if they dip their toes in the water.

Yep, totally agree with that. You made my point better than I could. It was a compelling story about regular people and unfortunately, regular people don't make exciting action figures. I do hope that HT dips into a couple of figures from Andor so that the folks who are really passionate about the show get something...

I’d like to get some more Imperial troopers. I think a probe droid would be cool. I missed out on the snow troopers and only have 1 ROTJ stormie. Are there enough differences to warrant an ESB stormtrooper or were they the same as ANH?

Also a jump trooper would be awesome.

I'd love more Stormtroopers:

Regular stormtrooper (both shiny and dirty)
Mimban trooper
Sandtrooper regular
Tie Pilot
Snow Trooper
Jump trooper
Death trooper

Bring them on!

I expected HT to at least use the Andor licence to give us some troops.

Yes! I forgot about another sandtrooper and tie pilot. Throw in a AT-AT driver as well! Would like another death trooper specialist!

Fourth Sis looks really cool but unfortunately would not fit in my collection.

Currently manifesting: Commander Colt/Ventress 2-pack, make it happen HT. [Actually I bet a ton of ppl would buy this]

Well, one of them anyway.

I still can’t believe they did that to Sung Kang. They should’ve let him be a new Inquisitor.

He looks nothing like Fifth Brother and failing to make him look the part was a disservice to both the character and actor.
Exactly. I understand there's going to be a difference translating animated to live action, but it was frankly pathetic how they handled 5th Brother. Just paint the actors face white. Amazing.
I wasn't very impressed with how they handled the GI either. Wasted as a character in the show and his appearance was also very poor. Episode 3 showed us how his species looked in live action, so the translation from animation excuse doesn't work.

There are enough subtle differences to the ANH vs ESB Stormtroopers, in helmets, armors and even E-11 blasters. But is this enough for HT to make the ESB Stormies? I kind of doubt it. Though I know I would buy a pair of ESB TK's.

The thing is that the OT (ANH, ESB, ROTJ) Stormtroopers are not present in the new movies and series anymore. They have been replaced by different versions, which are becoming the cannon for the Disney Star Wars.

He has the face lines painted on but they’re barely visible in the bad lighting. I just feel bad for the actor. There’s a lot of numbers. They should’ve made him 13th Brother or something. Let him act instead of growl and snarl awkwardly.

Since they couldn’t do the live action Pau’ans for some reason, I still think they should’ve kept the Grand Inquisitor in his helmet with a removable faceplate for monologuing.

I got used to his appearance but it’s still an unnecessary distraction. But I will never get used to Fifth Brother. :lol

The 4th sister is easily the best design IMHO. They could have just let her handle the plot done by the 3rd sister and just save the #3 for a future project. Instead, they sunk the Inquisitorious in one go. I still want the 2 figures though so please, HT.
