Ah yes, the iconic "Tifa dressed as a high school student peeing outside" scene. One of my favourites.

You mean with the Toys Era one?

I think the TE Aerith does look pretty good. I'm personally partial to sculpted designs over the fabric clothing ones, though I get that most people here seem to like this style. Maybe I'll hop in and give one a try. Did we get more info on the seamless joints yet? I'm willing to try the non-sculpted outfit, but seams are just a deal breaker for me.

* Edit: Oops, well, nevermind. Looks like the preorder closed back in April anyways, so I'm too late regardless. *

Oh hey, thanks. :) I had just checked OneSixthKit since that seems to be the one that receives all the praise around here. They actually still have it listed, and you can add to cart, but the description says they cut-off on April 24th, so I think they might be done there.

I'd love to hear some more about Giantoy! I am new to all this and simply not familiar with any of these stores. I do remember a few pages back in this thread that some folks had serious trouble with one of the stores. I'll have to dig those up to remember what to avoid.

Giantoy is great, and if an item is still up on OSK it means he has availability. Once he hits his stock limit he pulls an item from his store listings. So you can order from either one.

And to answer your question from earlier, TE is offering a set of seamless arms with the preorders.

Yep I saw the seamless arms! I just wish we had a photo of them -- wasn't sure if they are 'locked' to a certain position? Or posable? New to this and not sure what to expect.

Wish there were seamless legs, too, but that's less of a concern since the dress covers the knees. I assume there are joints at the knees.

Nah, they won't be locked in position, they'll be posable. If there is something not moveable on a 1/6 figure they will usually call out things like that.

If you're really concerned with getting a fully seamless look, you can pick up a TBLeague body and swap it with the TE one.
 
Is anyone else planning to get the Brings Arts Aerith and Tifa coming out in the next two months? I think Cloud is supposed to follow in December.

I've got them on order. Though the latest info says Cloud is scheduled for November 2023 release, Tifa and Aerith are still a year away, slated for April 2024.
 
Yikes! I now see the April 2024 release date on the SE website too. I guess the place I POd from hasn’t updated their placeholder dates :monkey2
