I ordered in the middle of March shortly after it released in HK and also just got the email that it's charging next Weds. Also East Coast.

I'm surprised by how fast they got to us with this. I figured since I didn't have him ordered since day 1 that it would be a while longer before they reach our orders.

Interestingly KGH, which have been getting their stock later than most retailers for some time now, have the Special edition in stock. Wondering why as they are still waiting on their stock for Grogu accessory set, Blurrg, Swoop bike, Axe Woves, Kuill or Captain Vaughn beside others.

Was considering going the CCFL route but although more accurate I feel they may be soo bright it dominates the display too much. This is the perfect brightness for me if only one didn't have to use those stupid batteries.

This photo looks phenomenal! I think I can relate to you regarding the wiring up of the saber arm. I am thinking of getting Fusion Reactors to help me out in that regard. I have asked him regarding Kylo and Maul so I think doing one for Luke shouldn't be too difficult. All the best!

Ordering early doesn’t guarantee early shipping. They’re not shipped out based on the date people placed their preorders.

I’m glad people are getting their orders fulfilled promptly though, as it should be.

Indeed; I wondered exactly the same when I saw this appear in the New Arrivals section.
Pretty sure the Special Edition (which just includes the exclusive hologram, right?) wasn’t even an option to PO when this initially went up- unless you make a special request maybe? Could be they just saw a deal for some and snagged a bunch.

The actual product listing shows as a pre-order item so I dunno what’s going on there.
All I know is they can’t have the standard or regular deluxe in yet or mine would be shipping- unless they forget about me like the time I went almost a year before realising they didn’t ship my Gideon. Keeping an eye on the New Arrivals is essential practice now.
That Grogu set is taking FOREVER though. I don’t care about it at all anymore.

I'm not sure if this has already been posted but felt I should share a small mod I did.

I was concerned about how thin the ankles were on Lukes boots. I felt they bunched up too much due to how thin they are and felt this may contribute to flaking of the pleather in the long term.

I added a bit of padding to the ankle of each boot to give it a little more support while posing. While it does not elimiate the creasing completely it's much better when posing. It's a simple enough mod to do. Just get some thin padding that's often used in packaging. Measure it around lukes ankle, tape together than place inside the boot down at the ankle.

Then carefully place lukes boot back on his leg. The little extra support helps maintain the boots structure and doesn't impact posing.

Woke up and had a shipping notice for this from Sideshow, was a little confused because I never got an arrival/charging email. Apparently they charged me back on April 18th and just never told me about it, and I guess I was oblivious enough to not notice haha. Still, Sideshow business practices continuing to get worse every month.

Either way, very excited for this guy.

This exact thing happened to me! Charged on my card and still no notification--so excited for this one to pair up with Ahsoka!

Dang, all paid up but still no shipping notice from SS. And my snow speeder Luke head came in already. So eager to get him in my hands and swap the hair piece.

Mine arrived late last week and I am thrilled with how this figure turned out, absolutely zero complaints considering how difficult young Mark Hamill's likeness is to get right. Held off ordering many previous Lukes until I bit the bullet with this one - couldn't be happier!!

It was only a matter of time before I had to add THESE shots…

Got mine in today. Can not believe how good this thing came out. Was wondering if I needed it since I had the original ROTJ Jedi Luke but this one just blows it away.

If you're on the fence - get it.

Paid mine off Friday still no word on when it will ship however.

Ahh.. the wait for the shipping notice is killing me. Hope it will not kill me before the import tax when it comes in the Netherlands

I wonder if this'll become in stock before my 10% coupon expires at the end of June; would make a good use for it!

Just can’t stop shooting pics of this guy! He’s seriously in the running for my favorite figure of all time. Some of that is undoubtedly because of the source material being my all time favorite franchise, but he’s also (in my best Justin voice) JUST THAT DAHRN GOOD!

I call this shot, “Come get some, Kylo…I’m not the man you think you met before! And now I have a little sidekick sleeping next to a bucket of frogs in the hut behind me that you FOR SURE don’t want to mess with!”

Got him in today. Still need to unpack everything but I'm really liking the sculpt with the Snowspeeder hair sculpt the best. Will keep the stock hair piece in the box most likely. Will get him setup properly tomorrow and mess around with everything included. Also need to remove that white scarf from the sculpt.
