Just opened mine up and I gotta say I'm pretty happy with him. The expression may be a little goofy, and he's a tiny bit cross-eyed, but it's unmistakably Scott Bakula. And of course the uniform is exceptional as always and the real star of the show.

Originally thought I might resculpt the hair, but I think I can live with it as is. And it's just not a character I really care enough about to go through the trouble anyway.

"AHHH, NOT AGAIN!!!"

I think Data is pretty bang-on but I don't disagree with the generalization. FC Picard and the EMH were both off enough to make me pass, which was sad because I'm fond of both a' those baldies.

Honestly I'm just grateful the uniforms aren't lacking in accuracy or quality at all, I think that would bother me more.
I agree, with exo you’re getting a bit of a balance, sculpts tend to be on average around the 7/10 range and the uniforms are almost always 10/10.

The @davejames endorsement carries a enough weight for me to be confident in this release though your resculpt would’ve been something to see. :duff

So that's Chakotay, Tuvok and Archer with derpy eyes.

Who gets to point it out on Nanjin's page and get blocked as a result 🤔

Anyone who ordered through Planet Action Figures in the UK check you inbox, Porthos and Archer have been invoiced!

Could you even imagine the discussion the 1/6 community would be having if Hot Toys put out 2-3 cross-eyed figures in the span of a few months? It really is downright unacceptable in my *ahem* eyes. I can put the stickers on my LEGO sets more centered and evenly, and I’m certainly not getting paid to do it.

What’s weird is that the first handful weren’t. It started with Tuvok and has been an off and on issue.

Agree with both of you. The initial figures were perfect, as far as eye placement was concerned. Unsure why there have been a string of issues lately.

Kind of puts a damper on the whole "museum quality" label being utilized by them...

If it happened even once with a Hot Toys release they wouldn’t hear the end of it for months. There would be an endless spew of stupid memes/GIFs and people making overly dramatic posts about how Hot Toys is the worst sixth scale company and how could they allow this to happen and blah blah blah. Guaranteed.

Well to be fair they've never said what kind of museum it is. Probably not one in the Smithsonian I'm guessing.

Got my Archer. Think he's a pretty strong release and am happy. One question for others who have received him...are the command "pips" somewhere in the box or do they come attached. Mine doesn't have them so I'm hoping/wondering if they come in the box somewhere and you have to attach them?

Uniform looks great. Love the vibrant blue color and the department color piped around the shoulders.

I’ve always liked the Enterprise uniforms personally. They have a much different look and are essentially NASA inspired jumpsuits.
