Wanted to share a HT BVS Batman cowl fix. I've used the "heat then cold water" method in the past to fix the cowl's tab from sticking up away from the chest/suit, but it doesn't last long, as the rubber is thin and just wants to bend up again over time. So this time I got a small piece of tin, cut it down to size to sit against the inside of the tab running toward the neck opening, then shaped it (did this before attaching to suit, so I didn't damage that thin rubber trying to shape it after), rounded the corners (to prevent any sharp edge from cutting into the rubber) then used gorilla glue to adhere it to the cowl. Now the tab sits nice and flush with the suit, over the top of my Jaxon Xu cape. I recommend using thicker tin, from a tin can or something, not flimsy aluminum. I had to use a pliers and some force to bend it into shape, so I know it's not going anywhere on it's own.

Looks great! I glued mine down many years ago, it’s ripped the suit in that area now from taking the head off to change eyes and capes.

Damn that's tempting. Affleck looks really good.

However I think I'll wait on what InArt does, especially for MOS or BvS Cavill. Not sure which one it was in the end.

P.S Love the "Group rules from the admins" :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Yeah, he doesn't take any **** lol

After watching Dean Knight's recent video on repainting the suit I decided to give it a go on mine. Technically it's the SS Batman but basically the same figure. Just very lightly dry brushing acrylic grey over the suit. I know many have gone much lighter with the grey but this is about as far I wanted to go for now. Just wanted more contrast with the black parts of the suit.

If anything I might darken the Bat symbol as it's quite reflective on my figure.

Is there anyone I can put on to seal the paint without effecting the finish on the suit?

That looks awesome! I don't have answer though sorry.

I'm late to the game, but in case you haven't seen SynderCon's Q&A for BVS, it's well worth the hour!

And another one with BATFLECK! I don't think I've ever seen him with Zack in an event like this? Brace yourself for the worst interview setup...

This is slightly better
