I’m interested, but I was informed Star-Lord doesn’t have his helmet, Drax is covering up all his body and tattoos, Rocket looks like reuse, Mantis v1 is still lightyears away… nothing is really exciting me about these figures or designs. They’re not comic-accurate enough for the comic fan in me, and not unique enough for the MCU display.
Some interesting points and I don’t really like the suits, they are bland but at least if they did Drax (yeah right) there is the potential for it be an easier figure for them to produce and better replicate his physique.

I'm seeing the movie at 6:30 and 10:20 tonight, and I'm pretty psyched.
I know that I basically like every Marvel movie, but I love me some Guardians.

OK, I loved this movie. It's big and busy with probably more characters and attempts at humor than is necessary, but damn if Gunn didn't somehow manage to still tell a coherent story that had me emotionally invested. And within that story framework he gives all the principal characters nice, well-earned arcs. And all of the actors in said roles brought their A game to this one. Also, the guy playing the High Evolutionary is excellent and the character would be a welcome addition to any HT bad guy shelf. There are also a few fun surprises sprinkled through the movie as well. If you like these characters, don't overthink it - just go and see this one.

So is this truly a great movie? Or just a refreshing MCU movie after so much baloney?

Wor-Gar, my friend.

James Gunn loves you.

Apparently his wife loves you too.

This is not a MCU film that happens to be written and directed by James Gunn.

It's a James Gunn film that happens to exist in the MCU.

You must go see this.

Just got back.

My son and I enjoyed it quite a bit.

It’s a super powerful Rocket story.

It’s a great movie about friends.

Rocket, Mantis and Nebula steal the movie especially Rocket and Mantis with Nebula 3rd.

High Evolutionary was also good dare I say better than Kang.

2 amazing “Guardians Group Team Up” set pieces.

It comes close going off the rails a few times but ultimately comes together perfectly at the end.

Just in case this is considered a spoiler....

Spoiler Spoiler:

Whatever happened to Starlord
Spoiler Spoiler:
It was explained that after Ego died in the 2nd one, any celestial part of Star-Lord would also cease to be.
High Evolutionary was also good dare I say better than Kang.
Honestly, in hindsight... Maybe he should have literally been the one to play Kang LOL, especially given the whole situation with Majors. Chukwudi Iwuji is absolutely incredible in this, incredible enough to where if I were Disney I would have wanted to keep him around. All three of the major villains throughout this trilogy are top tier and it's just a shame they're all one-offs.

I’m not a big GOTG fan but I would say this is better than 1.

This is probably the highest budget 80s style wacky design movies that will ever be made.

It’s like the misfit toys from Rudolph mixed with Toy Story 1 misfits mixed with all of those low budget sci-fivB movies from the 80’s that I mentioned.

What can I say was never a GOTG fan....already read all the spoilers and Warlock doesn't have the look I would have hoped for.

Will catch it on D+ eventually, but happy GOTG fans seem to be happy. That's a win with all the *&^%$ the MCU has churned out, or at least if it's not *&^% it's boring (tho I like Loki and he's on order 😁)

I'll go back to hoping Thunderbolts doesn't suck or get canceled with Disney's cost cutting and waiting on Loki S2.
