Hot Toys - Star Wars - Battle Droid with STAP

Not necessarily army building as i already have 6 of Sideshow's droids. Likely getting one of each eventually offered by Hot Toys. Also gonna have to get that STAP as i skipped Sideshow effort back in the days.

I'm hoping they do 2 packs, similar to how Sideshow did it years ago.

I'll probably get a few regardless of the price, we need some Separatist representation in the collection besides Dooku.

Minimum three clankers for me. But it's going to change drastically if Hot Toys's Grievous showing up.

Would be cool if HT or SS would offer a "battle damaged" droids set. Lightsaber lopped off heads, slashed parts, split in half, etc., to display alongside Obi-Wan and Anakin, for example.

I'd like that, I've incorporated the damage battle droid parts that came with ROTS Obi-Wan since I've gotten him. Right now I have them with the SS Arc Trooper Fives. Adds a bit more to the display, I think.

Considering someone bought like 20 or so 501st clones to recreate the walk up to the Jedi temple scene with Anakin, I don’t think some would have a problem coughing up the money for some battle droids as well

Sure some crazy person might. But buying a massive amount of 501st is very different than a silly amount of battle droids(I think). The 501st Clones are loved by many. I just don't think there is near the same market for clankers.

I thinks it's branded under TPM.

That might be the only vehicle I'd buy. I don't know why but I love it.

This guy is popping up almost as often as Cobb Vanth.

Might be similar to how they did the Mando Scout and ROTJ Scout, have the Mando one up for a while and then throw the one people really want out a few months later.

I only got 2 Geonosis Battle Droids but want at least 4-5 of the regular versions.

Why do they keep putting the BD and STAP in AOTC when it is TPM?
