Because it costs $300. No way they could could afford to include a quality cape.

Seeing that just makes me happy I preordered my custom cape at the same time I did Batman.

New to the Batman figure. Where is the best place to get a custom cape for this one?
I got my Jaxon Xu drape cape at OneSixthKit.

The cape will be a upgrade to the old one for sure but I'm sure a custom cape is more then welcomed. Very happy I pre-order this one and I'll pay him off before release.
Ok, finally I PO the Deluxe version…
Still convinced that DX09 gets a better likeness, or gets more Keaton’s vibes but as I desperately want this cathedral base ( I would certainly pay the high price on the secondary market) and the fact that I want to display one regular Batman next to the Mars Bruce Wayne like this
and another next to the Batmobile…
Finally it resolves my problem, I’ll be able to display both and put my Battle Damaged DX09 on the cathedral base.

So just how much of an improvement over the stock HT cape is it- and how do more recent HT capes compare to the original 89 and 92 figures?
A drape cape is my preference for 89 Batman and I want to believe the stock 2.0 cape will suffice, but HT’s record doesn’t fill me with hope. The BVS Batfleck cape sucks especially hard.
Waiting for the figure to release to find out will only make the wait for Jaxun even longer- if his cape does turn out to be necessary- so betting against HT and splashing the cash now seems like the smartest option.
Did they sell out of these, I only see Jaxon star wars and black panther capes on there.

Yeah that's what I did earlier today. I didn't see any batman capes.
I copy and pasted the site of all that shows up searching for jaxon.

Do you have an account? You sometimes have to log in order for items to show up.
I just made one to check if that would work, but still got the same results. Weird lol. I'm in the USA, maybe it doesn't show up for us?
This is exactly why I ordered the cape the same day that I preordered the figure. I do not want to wait 6+ months if the Hot Toys cape ends up being lame.

Yeah I'm logged in and when I click your link, it leads me to product not found page. When I do the search, no jaxon cape for batman shows up. Just tried searching with a vpn set to europe and same results
. I’m in the US. 
Weird. As soon as I was logged in and searched “Jaxon Xu”, everything showed up. I’m also in the US.
