Oh no... is it difficult?

Seems like those grenades don't want to stay in the straps. I'm anticipating using a tiny piece of blutac (not acquired from inside the head thankfully) to hold each grenade in place. But I'm still not certain I want to have the grenade pose be my final pose.

I was also thinking that the smirk head might be better for the Hit Me stance -- you know, with the knife in hand, he gives that little smirk as he approaches Batman.

Like you said, they are too heavy to stay in the straps and then getting those tiny little strings to all stretch out properly was frustrating at best. I kept expecting to get them all permanently tangled like I’ve seen others do.

Then when I finally got them all in place it was so heavy that I had to tightly squeeze the coat lapel in his hand with enough material to get him to hold the jacket open like in the scene that I was afraid if I left it like that it would damage the coat.

Maybe others didn’t have such a rough time of it but I sure did. 😬

Oh, I forgot, the grenades are metal? I suppose another reason to use blutac to help hold them firmly in place.

I do wish that grenade rig was removable from the coat, in the event I don't use it. Would have also liked it all pre-installed with grenades.

Hmmm... now that is not promising. And I can't imagine working all those little bits while the Joker is fully dressed. I had a hard enough time removing the wrist peg from the forearm.

Maybe grenade gag Joker is a "spare coat" option down the road -- where I can fix the grenades in place in advance OR use DiFabio's idea and get ahold of the plastic set of grenades.

Jesus, this keeps sounding worse and worse. Why bother adding all these add ons if they dont display/work properly.

Blame fans. Their OCD wants real heavy, actual metal bits, like machineguns and grenades -- or like a real metal 3PO -- but then the reality is its too heavy at relative scale, and in 3PO's case might shatter your glass shelf.

I’m probably in the minority, but I don’t need metal or Diecast anything when it comes to this stuff.

Hated when Hot Toys made Robocop Diecast and I don’t care for metal weapons because they make the hands and arms on figures too loose.

My Inart Joker will sport the Hot Toys machine gun, Glock and grenades if I utilize them. I don’t need that weight or functional slides and clips. Worthless to me on a visual level when it’s on display.

I like diecast when it fits the figure. Robocop I'm perfectly happy with being diecast. The Threezero Transformer DLX figures being diecast is great (and also nicely priced) and the Iron Man figures being diecast have felt great as well. I would also love a diecast T1/T2 Endoskeleton. It suits mechanical figures really well.

There is some delusion associated with it since the common thought process is that if a figure feels heavier, it must mean that it's higher quality, when we know that it isn't really the case. I think it's not needed on this and most of their other figures announced so far. Exception maybe being on something like Aragorn's sword and knife, which it being diecast probably feels great if he can even hold it properly.

It's not surprising they did so much diecast because of that delusion associated with it in this hobby though. They tried to go all out on this and wanted it to be as much "worth" of your money as possible. I can 100% see people bitching about their figures being completely plastic for the "insane" price that they're charging. It's just how it is.

I recommend the DXO1 grenade rig setup. Because it's a plastic rig. I don't understand why they provided diecast grenades in the first place 🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

I forget who it was but they made a grenade rig setup that's removable from the coat. It's very ballsy and very impressive. You will probably have to go back 20 or so pages to try to find it.

Yeah, I saw that. It was rory. No way I'm attempting that. Not this year anyway.

rory has diecast balls.

Still can't get over how amazing this set is such a shelf presence. Excited for their Batman set!

My eye saw both Doubtfire and Dorothy. :lol Unusual to see either in a display, let alone both.

That Dorothy is great though. Is that from the project that, at one time, was going to make the Witch and all the other heroes as well? I really want a Wicked Witch.
Ha thanks guys, Doubtfire isn't finished yet 😂
Dorothy is a bit of a sore subject atm also. 😂

But she's from Iminime run from about 10 years ago.

Really debating a dx19 for joker but I'm also tempted on that armory.

Other than pointing jail Joker, and clapping jail Joker and hands on knees jail Joker, has anyone found another way to pose jail Joker...?

Can Joker "point" to the floor, instructing you to bow before him?

Can he outstretch his clapping hands as if he wants a big hug?

Can he lay on his bench like Leia, head resting on one clapping hand while his other hand is defiantly on his hip?

My biggest complaint is that they centered the eyeball on one of my Jokers with the joystick all the way to one side, which limits the ability to adjust his eyes in that direction. Anyway to fix this?
I've had a bunch of figures like this in the past. Depending on the mechanism and how they painted it, you can rotate the eyeball clockwise 180 degrees. That will swivel the rod in the other direction, where there is more space. Otherwise, like others have said, unscrew the little mechanism and you can just reseat the eye.
