I bought a display arm from this company, who custom makes one for our batwings. I know that can hold any pose you want.

I was thinking the same thing. Without Joost's endorsement, I doubt I would be entertaining this kind of expenditure for a mount. By all accounts, it appears to be very sturdy and well made, but at $450 for the basic mount, plus another $40 for the optional wall emblem, it's really pushing it, IMO.

I can't tell if shipping is included or not, which could be significant. On the product page, it says shipping is invoiced separately at the time of shipment, but after it's added to the cart, it says free shipping on items over $400. I've asked for clarification.

Well, I can say that Brad at Stronghold Displays was very nice and super responsive. So, here's the deal. The $450 includes the bat emblem mount that they show on the website. The optional version is going to look more like the 89 emblem, which he said he'd mock up and send me a picture probably later this week.

Shipping is still invoiced later, which runs from $15 (UPS ground) to $45 (overnight). I believe that was for US delivery only, but I'm not 100%.

I went ahead and ordered.

Mine is out for delivery was on vacation and missed the first 2 attempts. I cannot wait to see this massive beast I’m still torn on display bc I see that stronghold stand but may stay traditional display on the wall to be able to see all the details I do not plan to go all dynamic with this masterpiece I like it on the wall centered so I can see all the details.

It’s here gonna get some good shots up too. So I’ve decided to go traditional, I don’t need a dynamic stand for this beast. The presence is amazing gonna figure out a moon backdrop with some lighting and share when done. In the meantime cheers!

Glad you were able to get it delivered. Whenever I get one of those missed delivery notices, I always get nervous that they’ll just duff the next attempt and send it back.

That moon setup looks sounds cool. Please post some pictures when you’re happy with it.

Awesome display Bgnyc007!

It’s crazy the DX09 when I got him in the batwing the figure started to fall apart smh suit and cape deteriorating smh. I did order 2 of the upcoming 89 figure rereleases. I would like maybe a bust or something to stay in the vehicles maybe Jazz can tackle something like that figure busts or some kind of simple figure to stay in the vehicles? Anyway here’s my dx09 final resting place. Lol

Were the suit and cape deteriorating where they were rubbing on the inside of the cockpit, or were they falling apart just from age?

I think it’s deteriorating because of age I had them in a museum pose for a while keep it in a cool, non-sunlit room, but there were a lot of issues with the body despite using 303 wipes, and what not. It just feels like these rubber figures are just doomed at some point in time I’ve had him for about nine years now.

How is the suit deteriorating? Is it tearing? What?

Also love the shots with you utilizing the targeting system. Looks just like the film.

It really depends of your location IMO.
My two DX09 are mint as day 1.

I’ll elaborate shortly and show some pics, I just don’t want to turn this tread into a HT thread. Basically there’s flaking under where the head sits in the figure like rubbed off material with the rubber also the neck peg literally chipped off upon gently taking it off to get the cape off. Also I have a custom Tony Mei cape that started to get deterioration meaning holes in the Cape. So my particular figure is falling apart . Oh well it’s just props for the main vehicle I guess lol. To me the accessories are the figures lol.
