I heard that the bale statue was fully articulated until they showed it to a visiting actor at secret base. After he looked at it for a few seconds, it turned into a statue.

Chuck Norris was then promptly escorted out ;)

Well I think TDKR armory is waaaayyyy cooler than TDK armory. Especially in figure form, that thing will look amazing in the middle of a display lit up

Honestly I don’t even see the changes that much. Probably because I stopped giving a crap about this suit years ago. But the DX 19 is still good. This picture was before I did the hand and neck mods.

Normally the phrase “good enough” pisses me off, but in this case the 100th version of this suit is good enough.

Now if only hot toys gave a flying turd about Batman begins. But nope, they don’t.

I plan on putting my current DX19 inside the new armory and my other DX19 kept with the Bat Pod. Display the new suit from the armory and when InArts makes theirs, I’m assuming one of the editions will be a rooted Bale figure. I’d pair that with my rooted InArt Joker. I’m excited for the upcoming figures 😁

Hot Toys have posted a video of their Dark Knight Rises Bat Armory on their facebook page.......:)

Here's the video

Also lol @ how the suggested video after this one is Hot Toys' DX19 video from only a year ago.

Why is the coolest part a statue, could've been made out of silicone like Pichen bodies. To avoid seamlines, you could have interchangable forearms (but start from upper bicep), like InArt's Joker and Blitzway's Hannibal Lecter. What do you all think? Is the current form superior to an articulated figure?

Oh man that sculpt does not look good in that video.
Also might be the angle but is the cowl sitting too high? The neck looks long as hell

Something like Blitzway Hannibal would have been nice

Over the years I fell in love with Batman Begins. It is underrated and underrepresented in good figures (no proper Ras and Crane, and decent BB suit).
TDKR was good in general topics and character development, but really bad in representing the conflict and some details, like Talia's death or some of Bane's logic. The weakest of the trilogy. My favs are John Blake and Selyna.
TDK is superior because it balances story, actor performance, and cinematography. And it was the first time "realistic" Batman (even compared to BB). But it is overrepresented in figures.
Thankfully it has been revealed what a disaster this new armory Batman is... so everyone is safe and free to save up for InArts Baleman.

I kind of agree. Because price-wise they are almost the same now, and InArt's The Batman figure is far superior to HT one. Hope for the ultimate TDK suit and Bale's head.

To each their own but I’m amazed anyone would be ordering this, knowing that the InArt (surely) can’t be far away.
Thats why I held off on the DX19... though those may start appearing on the market at a saving if people start jumping their orders to the Armory.

Kind of hoping InArt go down the route of the Begins suit, that one really does deserve a better figure.
