I’m all for “collect what you like” to an extent but if you’re collecting skimpy seedy statues I think that says a lot.

Always ends up im the same room in the basement just with different single 30+ dude with thousands of half naked anime figures.

Yeah, people can collect what they like but these statues are weird. They're like exaggerated sex doll caricatures of a person after botched plastic surgery. You can make sexy figures that look tasteful and not degrading to the character, but this is a different thing entirely.

It gave me a good laugh, though, that's why I posted it.

Yeah there's a very clear difference between, for example, Prime 1's Poison Ivy statues and something like that.

Those Jack O pose statues are so ridiculous.. especially the Thanos one, haha

If you're disturbed by this, just browse Amiami's preowned section or any online anime figure retailer. These character stylizations are nothing new and are incredibly popular. Its certainly a "to each its own" collecting preference, but exceptionally lucrative and with that its become vasty more abundant. Definitely never going away, but they do sometimes provide a good laugh with some great WTF moments.

I had to look up the Thanos one ... credit where credit is due, it looks shockingly accurate. Without the pose you could think it's official.

Imagine inviting people over

It's nice that the AC Cloud release date is just around the corner, but waiting until then is too hard. Even if it's not the photo information, I think I'll feel comfortable if the release date is revealed... If the release date is postponed again, I really think I'll fall into despair.

I guess I have no shame. I love my more slutty figures with their goofy phicen bodies and stuff. But maybe as a gay guy it’s more comedy than creepy when I have a super duck 2B and Tifa with their buxom phicen bodies lol.

Unless you have 2B's skirt flying up with her underwear on display I don't think there's anything wrong with that figure. Although it's a little anime-esque.

I have a few TBLeague figures from their Egyptian line that aren't too terrible except maybe my Cleopatra figure, but the other 30 figures are Marvel/Star Wars/FF7... So I think when most people see my whole setup they kind of just skim over the couple 'questionable' ones. A tasteful pose kind of helps the situation too, I don't go out of my way to pose them with their butthole out.

Still, to even call mine questionable is a stretch. The people who buy the 3rd party nude ones... I really don't get it. And I get second hand cringe just thinking of someone showing them off. It really has to be that the person who enjoys those only has people in their space that enjoys them too.

While I agree with you, our boy was MEGA pale in AC.

I do love it though, if that's the actual release sculpt.

The color of the face and body don't match. Face needs some vitamin D, I agree. Looks amazing otherwise.
