I mean, I do count most of the "Reva" stuff as "fluff"...

But I legit enjoyed the good parts. Chiefly the Vader and Obi-Wan relationship stuff.

I would watch Vader and Kenobi chasing each other all over the galaxy all day. Here is the one guy Order 66 was supposed to kill FIRST and Vader can never quite make it happen? killing Kenobi should get Vader out of bed every day.

What ruined Kenobi imo was Leia. Everything she touched she ruined, she was completely unbelievable. Mouthy little brats like her usually dont do too well irl. She is like five and rude to Kenobi, rude to her parents, extremely disobedient even if it hurts her first and evidently, a budding track star? Plot armor everywhere and I was Over. It.

But WTF as a POTC fan - a pirate leader that looks like a mixed green salad was emptied on his head, as well as costumes that look like the POTC closets were raided. Not SW at all, to me.

Just think about this.

Hondo would be really old by this time so I would never expect to see him in Mando; but what if we had gotten a decent pirate of the appropriate era like Sidon Ithano? He wouldnt even have to be that hostile, necessarily just an opportunist like everyone has to be in this galaxy?

I would adore to know more about Ithano, his ship and his crew. He seems like a pretty cool guy from what I know of him. We could have put him in there in place of Captain 420 and think how much better things would have been. Maybe even Kix could have been in his crew.

Maybe all the Mando scenes in BOBF should have been saved for this season of Mandalorian. I wonder if that was the plan , but then they changed their mind and said BOBF really needs some help?
rumors been floating around that was the dirty work from the witch KK. Favreau was excruciatingly mad and threatened to quit Disney/Lucasfilm for good.

That would have been so superior instead of the worrisome images of bottled ranch dressing and croutons that pop into my mind with the salad pirate. Also am pretty sure phrases like "avast" aren't SW...I'll be lined up for the next episode but won't be surprised if it's either an Ahsoka commercial or another edition of the Bo-Katan show, where she doesn't own the Darksaber, but she's better, because the one who has it is her boy toy.

If only Din were her boy toy! haha, no. These men of SW are a remarkably bloodless lot. We have Boba, We have Din and the PERFECT WOMAN for them is *RIGHT THERE*, right within handy reach and what do these men do...? From what we can see, nothing.

These are kid's shows, true but come ON.

About Hondo. Because Galaxy's Edge/Batuu is considered canon by Disney/Lucasfilm....Hondo is alive and well there. He plays a major role on the Smuggler's Run/Pilot the Millenium Falcon ride. He is visibly older.

Boba and Din are too busy playing Super Streetfighter 2 at each others houses after school to do stuff with yucky girls.

Sidon Ithano? The Crimson Corsair? The Red Raider? The Blood Buccaneer? The "Silent Scourge of the Lost Clusters," and the "Scourer of Adratharpe 7”? The trailblazer of the Uncharted Galaxy? The plunderer of Count Dooku? The Captain of the last Clone?

… who would ever be interested in that? Give us more Reva and scared Pershing!

Yeah taking back Mandalore's more Clean-up duty than Call of duty.

Mando and Bo at the helm of a giant 1-800-GOT-JUNK spaceship, everyone with a rocket pack gets a trash bag.

Let Grogu handle all the Mandalore Morlock beasties.
I hope you're proud of that statement. It's outstanding! :)

Sure are alot of familiar names in here who claimed they would not watch or stop watching DIStarwars stuff….

Yet here they are week after week posting repeatedly their dismay (with detailed plot analysis) saying they are gone and giving up on Star Wars shows….again

For the record, I abandoned BoBF and Obi Wan along with the MCU. I'm getting enough entertainment from The Mandalorian to hate-watch it with gusto! :yess:

Nah, I irregularly watch Boba - because - it's oddly soothing, like flipping though the Home Depot website or watching people who can't cook *&^% up or those YT vids bemoaning getting scammed by video game developers or crypto. Plus there's the Mando episode and the insane finale with the Rancour. 😁 Say what you like, the Rasta Tusken is a kick @ss woman - maybe. Hard to tell, but whatever.

Just haven't been able to force myself to rewatch Obi again, partly because Reva's performance gives me a headache, partly because of Darth being senile, and partly because Obi-Wan is supposed to be noble, courageous, clever, and witty, and I can't deal with the chronically bummed out Obi. Just the look of permanent anxiety on Obi (kudos to Ewan I guess) makes me want to slap him. It's really irritating.

Huh? Darth Vader/Hayden Christensen was one of the best things about Obi-Wan Kenobi!

Just melt down din's armor for Bo-Katan and send the man to live with that village lady from season 1 at this point LOL

At least then it would seem as if the writers gave a **** about him having some sort of story.

No hate on Bo-Katan, I like her just fine, but did we really need yet another "Bo Katan attempts to be Mandalore" story.

Oh my god.

This is some of the worst stunt casting I've ever seen.

I eagerly await everyone waking up and watching this.

Comments are gonna be good.

I'm not ready to quit yet, but this is the first time I've ever turned an episode off. I just don't see the point in sitting through this.

This show arguably saved Star Wars back in 2019, garnered interest in the franchise after an awful sequel trilogy tanked it.

This show may also be the thing that sinks it again. An actual joke of an episode, BOBF levels of laughable writing. Feels like a fever dream.

Even just little things like din's droid prejudice making an appearance. Did anyone working on this watch the previous seasons?

Ig-11 helped him confront that and we showed that growth with his eventual acceptance of the pit droids on Tatooine. Hell, he even trusted r5 to help him at the beginning of  this season.

This has been a real letdown. I regularly revisit episodes of season 1 and season 2, but dang I really can't think of anything I'm going to be dying to rewatch again here.

Some of the plot elements just seemed non-sensical.

How did the air traffic control just take over Bo's ship? A tractor beam would have made more sense

Why would the ugnaughts have a list of which droids will malfunction next? How could they know?

What was the Commissioner's plan? The planet was already a direct democracy outside of the New Republic so what was his end goal, and how would making droids malfunction achieve this?
