1/6 Hot Toys - DX23 - The Mandalorian: Luke Skywalker (DELUXE VERSION)

Doesn't seem like there's much left to do with ROTJ Luke that hasn't already been done, other than repurpose this new HS. Would've made more sense to hold off on that Deluxe set until this year, but they must've been desperate for $$ at the time.

ROTJ Vader downscaled from the 1/4 version seems like a no brainer. Palpy reissue with new expression seems quite possible too. Bib Fortuna would be really cool. Maybe even a Rancor, but smaller than 1/6. That would be an instant purchase, but would never happen.

Kinda in a SW kick lately thanks to Luke.

Due to get this guy next week I think, can't wait. He looks so good and my first Luke figure ever

Will that fit in a detolf? It looks great!

Absolutely awesome figure. Sculpt looks even better in hand. HT did good on this one. The 3 choice lighting effects on the Darktrooper are really great too. I just wish they would make the switches easier to access. A touch control on the head like SS’s 3PO would be perfect.

Really looks like the Darktrooper is floating mid air here!

Pretty cool as far as cardboard backdrops go. I’m not into using them but in the right setting I can see why others like these.

It’s astonishing how different this figure can look under different lighting set ups right? I think it’s kinda true to Mark circa 1983.

Was thinking of getting the deluxe after all over the standard.

Nah, he grew up on Tatooine - he never wants to see another dune again lol.

Went ahead and Preordered the deluxe ex from SS saved a bit on it using points but I still have the standard preordered. I think the deluxe is worth it because the destroyed Dark trooper is cool for display. I'm thinking if I should cancel the standard as it's been waitlisted.

Really enjoying this set a lot more than expected.

Always love the custom bases --really great posing and shots @Cocoboloboy! So good.

Anyone have any in hand pics of what the Snowspeeder Luke hair looks like on this sculpt?
