I have the other version, it's my favorite figure of the year so far, even with the oversized jacket! The figure itself and accessories are awesome and I love the sculpt. I can't wait to get this and Classic Leon, can't have one without the other lol

Mine came with a missing button. Very fragile. There’s some replacements in the box.

I know that Damtoys figures haven't always been perfect, but how they managed to lack this much quality control with both Claire's is just sad. And very disappointing.
@Project_A Are you getting a replacement vest? I'm curious how easy it'll be getting replacements this time around.

I’m going to email kit. Hopefully I can get a replacement. No way I’m risking getting one from eBay just to show up with the same issue.

Seamless isn't really the right term... that implies articulated with no seams, but they have no articulation at all. The alternate legs Dam included are just solid plastic. They look nice enough but I'd prefer to actually have knee joints so haven't swapped mine over.

Are you able to swap the solid/seamless legs onto the remake Claire figure? I'd like to see if it'll make the fitting of her jeans look different. Can anyone who has both figures try this?

Probably a good idea. I was considering on getting one from ebay, until I asked one of the sellers for a photo of the actual item.
This is what they had as their listing photo:

And then this is the photo they sent me of the one they had in stock:


It's not terrible, but still unacceptable considering what we're paying for with this figure.

Mine has the same garbage print on the vest in the back too. She just has buttons randomly falling off the vest and now the pants, the tiny little buttons on the pockets. Super annoying, the velcro on the knife is peeling off and doesn't sit right on the body. Most of these figures from them have been incredibly annoying to pose or attach things onto. The belts not attaching right or velcro peeling off from the glue or weird buckles/straps

I guess if you're capable enough, one could unstitch the vest, align and resew the overlap text, but it looks like the printing is skewed on a lot of them or possibly the greater majority. Really disheartening to see these defects come from a company that has been around as long as Damtoys, especially for that MSRP. I wonder if Capcom influenced the decision on releasing these as is?

Man, I love Claire so much. It's a bummer to see her figures not get the treatment the character deserves. If the figures were cheaper I would consider but at 300 bucks unfortunately I'm skipping them.

O I see it now lmao . I was living in ignorant bliss. But now that I’ve seen it I can’t unsee it.

These releases have been sloppy… I’m still not impressed with the headsculpt or body. Don’t like her expression, paint is a bit flat.

Like the overall quality of these Claire’s is pretty good despite the QC issues. And she does come with a lot of accessories. But seeing the total picture I just can’t shake the feeling that it just looks disappointing. The figures don’t excell in anything to me.

Considering the cost, it’s a pass for me.

Well, turns out I got one of the lucky misprinted vests as well. Oh, and the plastic (plastic!) belt buckle broke. And one two of the buttons also fell off the vest while I was futzing with it. lol
This is why I pay $380 for a figure - the quality!



I also wanted to try the solid legs, and wow. Just wow. It felt like this body wasn't made for them, and was going to break into pieces.
I am genuinely amazed that it didn't. Almost felt like I needed to use a hammer. I'll definitely be switching over to a TBLeague body.
Anyhow, here's some pics on what they look like on the figure.

Looks like that girl has been sitting on the horse too long.

TBLeague Claire. The body comes from the TBL Mohegan Huntress figure, which was mentioned somewhere uses a S47B Suntan body.
Works surprisingly good with this figure. I didn't take photos, but the vest works well with it too.
Only thing to be careful of is the black undershirt. It stains like crazy.

Any time you put dark clothes on a TBL body you have to pre-wash the clothes in a bath of detergent, distilled white vinegar, and water (soak for 24 hours), rinse and soak in water for another 24 hours, lay the clothes out on a paper towel to dry; if any of the paper towel has color leaching, start over with the above.
