Pattinson's suit is not my favourite but probably the best "realistic" take.

I love the Burton suits but they need to fit in that weird Burton world. I almost think if we could get a Pattinson suit with some (not all) of the 'realism' dialed down a bit to make it more sleek, it could be a favourite.

I guess Affleck's came very close to that but it didn't have enough contrast for me and he was too bulky for the style of Batman I prefer.
I don’t really care for Pattinson, but I like the car

I'm hoping they fast forward a few years so he's even more established as batman, with more experience, upgraded batmobile, and cool new suit

An actual batcave would be nice too

You're not the only one.

Did not want to pay to see the first one. We have HBO Max included with our cell plan. Started to watch the first one and skipped out less than 30 minutes in. Will never finish watching and the second is a definite pass.

Upgrade that Batmobile? My good sir, we do not upgrade actual perfection. Best Batmobile ever, bar none, no flash, all badass. It is glorious.

Lol I understand your point which a lot share. However...

I'm looking for a batmobile, not a muscle car that can exist in real life

I felt the same when they brought in the tumbler. It looks cool, but it's not a sleek, sexy batmobile you'd see in the comics (until Nolan and reeves released their films)

There is nothing more sexy than raw power.

I did not like the tumbler, but at least it appeared more serious than just about all Batmobiles that had gone before. This is a real-worldish universe these movies are in, and so the new Batmobile makes sense AND is aesthetically pleasing. I am sure they will modify it, but they really dont need to.

With that said, Clayface seems like an odd choice if these films dont want to depict metahumans. Thats his whole thing, being able to reshape himself. Take that away from him, and you dont have a whole lot.

Yeah if it is true, clayface does seem a weird choice. However, I feel like they can make it work as we also want to be surprised as well as given gritty realism. And the batmobiles make perfect sense in the worlds they inhabit, no doubt. Maybe I just like my bats a little campy and less real world!

One of the things that I love about Batman The Animated Series, that Paul Dini did with it, that just seems to be missing from the Batman films, is the inherent empathy that comes as a different shade of Bruce Wayne's character.

There's a very rich dynamic between Alfred as a surrogate parent and Bruce, and how small parts of Alfred end up in Bruce's overall view of the world. He's dark and broken, but he's not crossed over to the point of the core series villains.

It's difficult to humanize Batman, but I think Dini hit the theme correctly by showing his relationships with other people as the focal point of what he kept him centered.

The films have a tendency to move from big set piece to big set piece, or Batman is really just a straight man stand in for a charismatic villain who is the secret lead of the film.

Tell that to the one guy who used to say all the time he hated it 😂

I prefer the arkham games take. Dark and gritty but also have a nice dose of fantasy elements and things like that. I think Nolan struck a nice balance with tdk but the dark knight rises was awful with its “realistic” approach. It got old quick. Batman isn’t realistic but he is gritty and dark. The dark knight wasn’t realistic all the way through. Just look at two face. No one can walk around like that. I pray clayface isn’t some masked guy with a messed up face who can just mimic people sometimes.

He needs a Bat-modded C7 Corvette. If I remember correctly, one of the engines used in the batmobile actually was from a 'Vette. And Pattinson also drove that Stingray as Bruce. Would be a pretty good fit IMO.

No i think they should go all Section Eight and have Bugatti design the car. I could see Bats driving La Voiture Noir.

Just kidding, I actually like the street vibe of the car Battinson drives.

Well you always have the argument a man jumping off a building wrapped in nylon hitting a bus then hitting the ground rolling 400 feet .Gets up and walks away isn't real world lol
