I've been futzing with this suit this afternoon on an old Mandalorian body until my InArt Joker gets here, and I have to say I prefer the v2 to v1. This shot includes the v1 shirt, as I like the more purple tint. The tailoring is excellent, the only flaw is the complete lack of wiring in the jacket, which is requiring a bunch of double sided fabric tape to sit properly and not flare out everywhere. But when taped down, you can see how well they actually tailored it. I also prefer the darker richer violet of this v2 coat to the v1. I plan to weather it a bit next.

Coat looks good here

I got in the TOPO 2.0 set...which is very hit n miss. The tailoring itself is excellent, but the scale of the pieces are all over the place, especially the inner jacket and waistcoat.

I'm still mixing and matching different pieces to see what works best.

At the minute i'm using the coat, pants, shoes and socks from the set. Hands are HT. Everything else is OVERTOYS.

After water treating the coat it doesn't look too bad. It is a tad too long and the lapels could do with being a little more narrow. But i like the sharpness.

For those interested here's how the TOPO jacket compares to older versions.

It's tailoring is on another level, but it's just too big to use inside the coat, as it bulks out everything.

The little hook fasteners on the waistcoat are a nightmare to close. I'm going to swap them out for poppers.

i personally think it's a really disappointing set with the only noteworthy thing being the gloves, but even that isn't accurate gloves. just their repainted bank robber gloves that ends up looking overly textured. the length of the pants is an improvement, but i find myself really disappointed with how the fabric feels. theres something overly synthetic about it compared to how daftoy's pants feels. the strip lining for the pants is too few as well.

initially, i thought the usage of clips was smart until i actually tried handling them and needless to say, i honestly hope to never touch that vest again. i will admit, i like the fitting better and how the vest is able to sit higher, but the fact that its such a pain to futz and mess with makes me not want to mess with it anymore.

the chain on his pants broke and i honestly don't wanna go through the hassle of asking kit for a replacement because honestly I'm so done with this set and just want to be through with it lol

not only the chain broke off, but the buttons on the vest decided to not want to stay in either.

the shirt pattern is a little too dark and the pattern itself doesn't look sharply printed. their blazer looks darker than their 1.0 release, same goes for the coat. no grenades come in this set.

i guess i expected more but i went wanting to buy new gloves so i guess i got what i wanted. ill just wait for wonder's custom set for joker. ill probably get topo's bale BW clothes and that might be it. this release really left a sour taste in my mouth compared to their bank robber or 1.0 set. with previous hits, i don't know why they threw in the towel for this release. some might like it, i might just have poor taste because this set is a huge 4/10 for me. maybe I'm just unlucky.

the majority is topo 1.0 besides the 2.0 coat. dino tie that i need to futz more after seeing this picture

Can you share what you mean by water-treating? I’ve heard the term but am unclear of the specifics. Is it simply wetting the cloth and letting it dry in a new shape?

Yes.. just wet the coat down when it's on the figure, and shape it with your fingers.

Repeat the procedure until your happy with the results.

Thanks for the review and pics @matrix69

That 2.0 blazer does look nice. It's a shame it's too bulky though. Love the color on it.

And interesting that they used those fasteners on the vest. That's what InArt used on the cuffs for their Joker shirt. They are a bit of a pain to work with, but allow for the fabric to sit flatter than the snaps.

You have a nice looking Joker, though. Did you do the headsculpt yourself?

Thanks for your review as well @xXJ0kerXx1 ! You have a great looking Joker. Sucks about the set mostly being disappointing. You and Matrix definitely don't need the InArt Joker. Y'all's look fantastic. Looks like I need to 2 of those Dino ties though.

his ties, especially for joker are probably the best in this scale, You won’t be disappointed at all if you get them. Hoping to get 2 sets as well for inart
Yea, he seems really dialed into his craft. When I first found him on IG, my first thought was "how can anyone be so into just making ties?" but that's his thing and it's pretty cool how dialed in he gets with the detail. I have a list of ties that I would like to get from him to save on shipping charges hopefully.

Better to buy in bulk. That’s what I’m doing. I think shipping was like 25-30 the last time I bought from him. Shipping from Korea to US. The tie was 35 so I gotta try to get a few ties off of him so the shipping doesn’t hurt as much

Cool thank you so much for the info :duff buying multiple at one time definitely seems like the way to go.

Thanks for compliment. I going to try and retailor/slim down the grey jacket to fit better, as it's a shame not to use it.
The headsculpt is from the old OVERTOYS version which i repainted.

I'm still tinkering with the outfit...I retailored the grey jacket to fit more snug, swapped out the hooks for poppers on the waistcoat, and weathered up the clothes and shoes.
I prefer the shorter waistcoat of the OVERTOYS version, but TOPO has the more accurate detailing.

Everything is TOPO 2.0 except for the tie and gloves.

My finished Joker...

Swapped out the waistcoat for the OVERTOYS version. I prefer it as it's shorter and more clown like. And i prefer the HT hands.
I also had another go at painting the head sculpt. I'm only a novice when it comes to painting sculpts but i think it looks a little more pleasing on the eye now🤡

Can anyone advise me on a body for the topo 2.0 set please? Does dx11 work, what else can you recommend?
