1/6 Hot Toys MMS 261-Star Wars: Episode IV-Han Solo 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure

I was just testing this out yesterday with the Han body. Arms are a bit uneven, the pegs fit in the sockets but not that smoothly. Wasn't too tough to get through the hole in the sleeve.



I've seen some others do this too.

Those seamless hands/arms look great TonTon! I need to pick myself up a set.

I should clarify that they fit in the sockets but not in a way I was thrilled about, just in that it was difficult to get them in and then they're not quite secure enough to bend easily without them popping out, and it's a process to then start over getting them seated again.

I'm trying to think of a better way to use them. One idea was to replicate the InArt jail cell joker and cut the HT arms and Worldbox arms off at the forearm and then install magnets on each end. Not quite confident enough in my skills to pull that off though, especially with a body like the Han one that's expensive and difficult to replace.

Hmm, thanks! Can I ask if the standard HT head fits on the Worldbox body? Maybe the solution is a body swap.

Head fits but then you might lose the fit of the clothes and the Worldbox body I have is pretty pale so probably needs a wash to get closer to the sculpt.

i have a lose medicom han head sculpt I would like to get repainted. since I sold my jinx sculpt. wonder who i could send it off to get repainted?

Forgive me if this has been discussed (its tough to browse through the 435 pages of this thread)… but is there a good fix to the discoloring of the weird fabric piece at the chest opening on the shirt?

Just about every one I see in pics has it to some degree, and mine is no different-



I thought maybe using a micro brush with some light peroxide might help but didn’t want to risk it unless someone else has tried it.

Yes some watered down bleach works.

I wouldn't do watered down bleach, that seems risky. What worked for me was spraying it with Spray n Wash, or your regional equivalent, basically a pre-treater for stains, then soak it in a container with warm water and laundry soap. It took multiple rounds of this, but now it's hardly noticeable.

Trust me it works! I used this process on mine a few years back and it still looks like new to this day.

Water down the bleach and apply it with a brush. Let it sit for a few minutes and then wash with cold water. If the stain hasn't completely vanished repeat the procedure.

I did the same with watered down bleach turned out perfect

. . .think I'll just stick with the yellowed fabric, but I appreciate your collective ballsiness in trying different things.

Did the same on mine, took the shirt off and used a cue-tip with some diluted bleach. Was worried it would make the spot too white compared to the off-white color of the shirt but it worked perfectly. I’m actually having discoloration in the same area on my TFA Han’s shirt so will eventually try the same thing on him when I feel less lazy ha.

Another question before I try this.... How "watered down" are we talking? Like equal parts water and bleach, or a 75% water/ 25% bleach mixture or what?

Another question for you guys... I picked up a second one of these to do a Han Bespin. Unfortunately, he has a broken wrist peg. Can anyone recommend which peg I should search for in the aftermarket?

Those seamless forearms look pretty good. I’d be tempted to give them a try, but my collecting focus is on photography as opposed to display. I pretty much keep my figures in fairly simple poses (but hopefully sowing off a bit of personality) until I’m ready to grab a couple for photoshoots. And in photography, it a simple matter to shop out those ugly joints for the most part…

Couple more mods to my Han. Had the hair detail on the chest piece painted for an Indy figure but decided to use it on Han for now.

While I was redressing the belt on the pants started crumbling so replaced that with a custom. (Don't mess with that belt unless you really have to, I've seen lots of people replacing them recently).

And then I've been using the Greedo killer from the old SS figure for a while now. Holds up well.

Which custom belt is that?

@TonTon looks great ... what did you replace the belt with? Stock or custom?
