I hadn't checked in her for a bit and was curious for any new updates, didn't count on them being about Nanjin's attitude. To check his page can be confusing.

"I have an attitude issue, no doubt, and I could act up with anyone even a police with a TG pointing at me.
But I never had an attitude with Accountant and my mentor.
The accountant didn't ***** at me this morning. I wouldn't say a word if he yelled.
Huge relief. Now EXO-6 restructuring can move forward in full speed. It is going to adulthood.
Great things are coming! First one going out the door, the foul mouth dude, Nanjin."

Sulu, really?
I have to go with TMP Spock figure. It is an amazing piece to display. I love mine.

Nanjin's reasoning didn't seem 100% clear (scheduling error of some kind), and now Disco Bones has been delayed again until Summer.

I think the challenge here is how we've been told a number of times to "prepare for warp speed" and "clear out buying other things" for 2 years now but we seem to constantly be hit with delays and overpromises and under delivery while I've held on buying other things to save for this that I would have liked.

The products, when they do come, are second to none. I'd just rather not here that we're about to get a deluge of preorders and then nothing happens, it just makes for frustration.

Yup. But this is a universal problem of the industry. Logistical issues all round.

True, but other companies don’t have a hype man over promising product preorder speed.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me 7 million and 43 times, shame on you again. And no credit for any occasions when you deliver on time either. ;-p

It astonishes me when anybody still gets upset by relatively minor delays in the 1/6 industry. It astonishes me far more when something is delivered on time.

Get upset if your product is cancelled, sure, but delays? Why did you ever think it was going to happen on time knowing what you must know about the industry?

That said, given the obsessive nature of collectors maybe I should be astonished that I'm still astonished?

I don't order much from other 1/6 companies but I don't get a sense that Nanjin is slower than the others. His average turnaround still feels faster.

Still, I suppose we only collect because we're obsessed, so the producers must expect this sort of reaction every time, I guess.

"Mount Everest" and "Hundreds Billion of Dollars" worth of Trek figures in the secondary market for those that missed out?

So how long did Nanjin played Poker with the cast of TNG? He must of won every single game as he's good at bluffing and raked in the cash. Or better yet, as being an apprentice for Quark, has Quark's mannerisms rubbed off onto him?

Look Nanjin is super passionate about his company. He is like the over the top Carnival Barker that pumps up the crowd (is his English perfect? no, but his enthusiasm is catching.) I am in for the long haul. I’ve sold off a bunch of figures so that I can focus my attention fully on Star Trek.

I think at this point its probably best to seperate art from artist. I love Nanjin, I'm grateful for what he's been able to do, but i get why he can be frustrating for some people. It's probably best to just buy his stuff, and try not to take his posts too seriously.

Definitely. Or at least stop fixating on his hyperbole. I don't get why that riles people up at all, he makes it pretty clear he's not acting as public relations for Exo-6.
