Yeah it's missing the individual panels, but I don't think anyone realistically expected them to capture that. Since it probably would have added a couple weeks worth of work for each Batwing and upped the price even further. And in any case, I don't think it detracts at all from how utterly amazing this thing looks or how much presence it has on display.

To be clear, I don't think it looks terrible. It's a beautiful and impressive model but I wouldn't call the paint accurate. I was asking because it seemed to me like the consensus was the paint is 1-to-1 and that honestly shocked me.

I’m just gonna have mine sitting in my Batcave until I can get my buddy over here to help me mounted on the wall when it does arrive.

I think I remember him saying they won’t do 1/12 for the Batwing bc of the HT prototype but may however do the car depending on 89 Batmobile success but who knows now since HT reissued their car.
Yeah, now HT reissued their for a price equivalent to a 1/12 Joost's product, maybe it changed the game for 89 1/12 stuff...
My waitlist converted for this 89' batwing and I have 10 days to pay the deposit or it goes to the next person out of the 210 people who are waitlisted... decisions decisions 
. This is for the final batch though, which will ship Q4 2023. I'll probably pass unless I can grab one sooner if I were to pay in full which I'll have to email Joost about. I might have missed it but anyone here have this batwing in hand? I'm sure it's worth it. Damn, so tempting
