Gotta say I'm not seeing this huge upgrade in likeness that others are. Looks exactly like the proto to me, but just with the usual softening of the sculpt and paint we usually get.

Also not digging that shiny inner layer they added to the hood for some reason. I was only planning to display this with the hood up anyway, but now I'm not sure...

Will be curious to see a comparison of this sculpt and the ROTJ in the same pic/lightning/etc.. happy it's (apparently) compatible with the other hair sculpts.
The new hair looks way too flat to me personally.

Outfit looks good.

I want to see the fancy DX box.
I need all boxes to be as ridiculously large as the InArt deluxe Joker now

Agreed. Looks pretty much the same to me. Though, I didn't really have a problem with the proto sculpt. Always figured it was just HT photography throwing it off and now it's just looking better that it's been photographed by others. Sometimes blogger photos make the figures look worse but thankfully in this case, he looks pretty good.

Some angles make this sculpt look eerily similar to the Sideshow version, which definitely isn't a great thing.

Perhaps in the sense that they both missed the mark (excuse the pun) capturing Luke’s likeness.

Still love the scene but the show flubbed it a bit with Luke’s likeness. Turning that into a figure further brings it into uncanny territory.

But it was to be expected with this figure, which is basically playing a game of telephone with Mark Hamill’s face.
