No issues for me. People just need to learn how to balance a figure and futz. I managed to balance him and hold a pose with the magnetic stand with only one foot. Any body having their figures fall because they dont know how to place a figure on a base properly might want to stick with statues.

I’ve had figures fall with crotch grabber stands and I consider myself fairly good at being able to balance them. Not unheard of for them to fall. Sometimes things happen or get knocked into. Without the extra support it seems more risky especially when it’s a more expensive item.

Eh from what I've seen the issues with this Joker don't come close to what's happening with the DeLorean right now. And I'm still far more worried about that.
Yes I am very worried about the delorean :(

When I get Batman I think I’m just going to use a crotch grabber. The magnetic base is a cool idea but with the issues Joker is having unless InArt improves the magnets in the bases and feet I don’t trust it to not take a nosedive off my shelf and have something break.
I wonder if that base is all magnetized it looks like its a solid piece of metal. Thats alot better if its the case.

Ps Sorry mods I really have to learn to use the multiquote thing

That would seem to make more sense to have the entire footprint of the base be magnetized versus just having certain parts where the figure is supposed to go.

The QC issues are piling up. Glad to know InArt is making good on Bri's issue; hope they solve everyone else's the same way.

Ever wonder if that head Bri destroyed just happened to be the best head yet rooted?
Let me tell you, choosing which head to destroy was the worst part. They were both painted so well and had some good variance, but I liked the hair just a smidge more on the one that I picked to keep.

And here’s a pic that everyone wanted. :lol

I can't imagine making that choice. I hope not to.

I hope you saved the eyes. Maybe good as a back up.

Do you really have a sander in your kitchen?

How do you have a figure fall even using a crotch grabber? 🤷🏼‍♂️

As for the magnetic stand, I think you'll find it a lot stronger than expected and the leg/ankle joints are tight. No worries. What I have seen of the "horror" stories of the figure falling forward have been both fabricated and or the person hasn't properly placed the figure or balance them to not fall.

I never understand why companies want things destroyed. I get it that they don’t want you to resell the damaged pieces but why not have it sent back or something? Seems like such a waste of not only resources but also the time spent on a particular piece.

The most difficult part of it was feeling like I was destroying someone's art. I know someone had to take their time placing all that hair and touching up paint and it just really sucks to destroy that work.

I hope you don't either. And no, I didn't save the eyes as I didn't want to chance Inart denying the approval on my sculpt destroying abilities. Kit said that they had to see that it was destroyed enough in the email he sent me before they'd send a replacement.

No, that's my garage. I have zero clue why there is a coffee pot in there. :lol

He finally snapped.

Anyway, it's fun posing Jokor.

The issue why jail cell Joker's shoulders poses weird is because the area has gaps due to the joint design of the body. It can look disjointed even with futzing.

Accidental. Knocked into (either by hitting against the shelf or by me moving another piece and the two graze each other), I thought it was properly balanced but it wasn’t, etc. Not saying it’s a super common occurrence but I’d still rather not risk it.

Tell me, Cordell, to you does that look like a wave goodbye... or hello?

If I do decide to keep the Jail Scene Joker, he will definitely be going on a new body with better shoulders and proportions, as the current one just isn't working for me at all.

Yeah, it was stupid. They should have just let Bri keep it. It’s a complete waste.

I could see if the headsculpt had a defect or blemish, then yeah, destroy it, but no, it was perfectly fine. InArt was the one that ****** up and sent Bri two of the same heads. That’s not Kit or Bri’s fault.

Could have had him ship it back to Kit who could then hang onto it for another customer with the next inevitable mishap . . .

Ideally they need to do what molecule did and have a whole magnetic base not just 2 plates. One thing I will praise for was how strong Lennon stood on that base.
