We will still find fault in a figure no matter what is presented. Question is: How much are we willing to accept?
For me, just based on that one pic, there is enough here to work with. I do wish it was closer to the proto, but it's a 3rd party company.
On the other hand, the "Crazy Warrior" started as garbage and turned into ****.

To answer the question of where the images came from, I found it from a collector post on Instagram. This is the only image posted so I cropped it and shared it so we all have an idea how the figure turned out. Ironically I didn't preorder Wez which I'll probably regret later but It could have a second PO like Joe did on Kits site.

I am still confident that it will turn out ok. The lack of pics however is concerning. It could be that everyone involved does not want a bunch of cancellations, or issues with collectors calling out the final product as no where near prototype.

Like the Sideshow Ash situation, once that train-wreck showed just a few pics, it was cancellation and complaint city….

There was even talk of lawsuit with that one.

Unfortunately the only reason I can think for not showing it , is it came out bad, and the financial players want to protect themselves.
Wait - what? I'm not gonna lie, I have no recollection of that debacle with Ash. I thought at the time he was pretty well regarded and most people were surprised Sideshow made it. Minus the paint scuffing on the arms there was little else to complain about aside form the price.

Looks good! I never thought we'd get the same quality weathering job from the proto. It can be tricky and many customs that attempt weathering execute it poorly.

Just go back to that thread….hairless henrettea, terrible paint apps….

Now that I think of it, maybe that was not sideshow…..

Looking at their photos of other figures a lot of them have the same soft, almost blurred quality, so we can't really judge the actual detail in the sculpt.

Don't know what's going on with my Wez. '66 Joker overtook him, and Wez' tracking stalled until this morning when it recorded this for the second time:

ShaTian,DongGuan / Shipment arrived at facility and measured.

They allegedly already did that three days ago:

Yeah... those pics are not doing the figure any favours.
Judging from what can be seen, it looks like a body swap would be in order, plus a lot of weathering and futzing. The hands look especially poor, but the HS looks very good, as does some of the gear.

Ha ha! Yes, the leather chaps are indeed correct in terms of screen accuracy. Now all he needs is his 1/6 buddy "The Golden Youth" to go with the bike...

Although I haven't personally ordered this figure, with some work I think it could be made to look quite nice. The vambrace on his left arm could certainly be modified to include real leather straps to secure it to the wrist. Plus a real hair Goatee!

i think it looks decent. They should have given him a rubber torso sleeve, to add a little girth and hide the visible gaps around his waist area. The leather is always going to be a compromise, make it thin enough and we complain about durability issues.
