Creepiest unboxing ever lol. If I walked in on that I'd run off screaming.

Nice review though as well. You should get Tiffany as well, it's not too late is it? (It isn't here in the UK anyway)
Hey, thanks, glad you enjoyed it. And yeah, we have one of those creepy old homes, with a giant attic (you know, the kind that, during a windstorm, makes you want to scream out your mother's name to stop the Nothing from swallowing Fantastica.) Anyway, it makes a great, if not unnerving to work in at night, set.

As for Tiffany, she is sold out at most of the reputable online retailers, and marked up significantly in the few stores I have seen her. I'm keeping an eye out though, I would love to review her as well.

one guy on reddit said NECA been posting that they dont have plans for second batch for either
i find that hard to believe lol

Hopefully they make more, cos right now NECA has pissed me off no being able to make up for their mistakes, I received my Tiffany without a necklace and they still don't want to help or even provide my retailer, who is contracted with NECA, a spare necklace mine didn't include. However, I do get the feeling that these won't be rereleased due to some agreement issue with Moody Pudding. I tried to contact moody Pudding to see if they can help with my missing necklace issue for Tiffany, which they sadly can't help. But what they told me about NECA's handling of the release kind of kills my hope of a rerelease.

Yikes. This was such a messy situation.

Ooof, ok I had hopes for a rerelease so I can get doubles but this is def not looking good. I hope NECA gets their **** together. So many people missed out and they knew this would be a hot ticket item.

Long time listener, first time caller. I've been lurking on this thread for several years now and you guys have been a wealth of information. I finally got the Neca Chucky in hand, so if there are any burning questions that haven't already been answered, let me know. I also did a youtube review. Neca 1.1 Chucky review

Thanks for scrubbing the internet for every last bit of life-size Chucky information, it definitely made the wait more bearable.
This video is incredible. Holy crap! You have me regretting cancelling my pre-order now...

wow thats bad!
however I dont see how that would stop NECA making more. they are in the money making buisneess after all and these sold out so they know they can sell em and probably even increase price and still sell.
interesting to see Moddy saying they looking to rotocast but I suspect it still wont be as cheap as NECA if they use silicone like the current ones they make

I spoke to a toy vendor at a convention who had ties with ToTs and right now they are trying to get some kind of deal working with Moody Pudding to be a lead producer of Chucky products, specifically for bride of Chucky. Considering issues going on with NECA, they bit off more than they can chew budgetting for the manufacture of these replicas. He also rambled on about why the boxes themselves don't say the name Tiffany or Chucky. Honestly I don't know how these licensing deals work. That day I went hunting for their Chucky doll at the convention I did notice that NECA's Catwoman figure isn't even called Catwoman, instead it's "The Cat"

not sure about that
all the NECA figures I own have names on boxes.
with Chucky the actual good guys box it does not say chucky on it only good guys.
this is the TOTS box for 2nd film Child's Play 2: Good Guys Doll Screen Accurate Box
Chucky is never written on any boxes in any of the movies as the actual Dolls are called good guys. So that person did not know what he talking about.

Well who knows, trademarks and licensing deals tend to have obstacles companies can slide through to make a release. All I know from what I've seen is that there've been occasions in the past where NECA had to alter things to slide past ownerships regulations. One being Catwoman, and Ghost face. Notice the ghost face figure doesn't use the title "Scream" on their box?

That's because 'Ghost Face' and 'Scream' are two entirely separate licenses. Definitely the exception to (the more common) rule.

Lol I always called ghost face scream anyway I akways thought ghost face was dumb name.
