Oh I'm not even going to compare this to Mondo haha it's on a whole 'nothe level compared to that.

This one sold me on the armor close-ups, looks REALLY good, the hands are amazing idk for me the hands on a figure are really important, wrinkles and all that. And the extra cape we get and accessorises look top quality.

I'm just disappointed that we had quite a wait for it to look pretty much the same but I think if they paint it differently it will be miles better cause the sculpt is better! The eyes are wrong.

But yeah I was also thinking that in hand it will look great, especially in better lighting. Still getting it.

Mondo neutral sculpt was a million times better. The screaming sculpt is just goofy on both figures though.

Yeah, the screaming sculpt looks like a bug eyed bald man, but same goes for the neutral, something is way off with those eyes.

And the body looks to have some "overall" improvements, a little wider lats and straighter posture?

Yeah it's just not giving me "Kratos", more like pretty good cosplay.

I'm honestly very much impressed and pleased with the updates that they have made with the feedback they have received from collectors in the community. It's not often to see a figure company actively listen to the fan base and act based on feedback. Plus keep in mind that this is a third-party unlicensed company and could have simply ignored the complaints and released it as it was first shown (like many other third-party companies do).

The improvement in the sculpts is noticeable because the beard looks longer and more detailed, the scar on Kratos' face looks more accurate to how it is in the game and the proportions of the face also seem better, previous sculpts looked a bit bloated. Very glad to see the improved body, I am planning on picking up the original body that they showed for Kratos since they are gonna release it, I believe it's gonna work for muscular and tall characters to kitbash.

I'm really digging the fur coat/cape, I think this is how I'm planning on displaying him. To me, this is easily the best Kratos in 1/6 at the moment, glad I didn't give into the hype prior to the Ragnarok release and order the Mondo one because the price was ridiculous and not worth it when compared to this.

I'm loving how this looks! Really happy to see they've included the fur now, as that's my favourite look for Kratos in Ragnarok.
I know it took some time for these updates and they appear to be minor, but I think the tweaks to the neutral face have improved it considerably. I don't think they should have reduced the bulk in his waist though and they could go brighter still with the eyes.

Having seen the Mondo version in person, I've personally never understood the huge appeal. The neutral head looked fine, but the figure overall felt quite cheap. I also laughed out loud at the angry face. It looks like a small child tasting a lemon for the first time. I certainly don't hate Mondo's version, but absolutely no way I'd choose that over this.

As far as accessory packs they need to make fully upgraded weapons.

A minor nickpick is that they didn't include the Draupnir ring on his right hand, not that it would be easy to see on the shelf though.

I liked it on the first go around (though I didn't PO until I played Ragnarök) and I like it now Looks like Kratos to me-longer and less round than the first attempt and better than Mondo overall IMO.

As @WhoaItsJBot mentioned, fully upgraded weapons would be a cool accessory pack for sure.

Hope they make a Thor or Atreus figure next.

Pretty cool to me. I’m keeping my Mondo. I like the sculpt but hate Mondo’s articulation. Glad to have both - eventually

His arms feel disconnected from his body, not simply because there's a seam line there, but because they've kinda cheated the arms out in order to allow more movement, so that his bulky serratus muscles and the thick leather armor doesn't completely hinder any ability to move, like the Mondo figure does.

Overall, I hate how limited the Mondo Kratos is, but it's a design choice I'd make in their place, too. I prefer the aesthetics. If these two figures are similar in size, I'll probably try to get all these Ragnarok armor pieces on to the Mondo one.

I had the Mondo figure and sold it when the prices went nuts. I liked it but once Worldbox announced theirs I preordered with Kit that week, neck seam and all. Now with the changes and refinement, I’m over the damn moon.

I'd love both of those, and Brok.

Can you imagine how big a Thor figure would be? Considering how solid Worldbox bodies are, he'd probably weigh 10 pounds lol.

Would be great if they re-used the body for an RE2R Tyrant.

Honestly Thor would be just so awesome.

This is one of those lines where I'd be in real danger of spending some real money.
Atreus, Freya, Thor, Odin, Baldur, Brok & Sindri would all be must haves for me.

When is the release date?

Imagine how massive of a body Thor would be as this body alone is bigger then their AT027.

Given how much bigger Kratos is than a normal person and given how much bigger Thor is than him - Thor would probably need some Toys Era colossus style sized unique body made for him.
But just imagine the sheer shelf presence......

Oh I agree, because I like this design for Thor we don't have any 1/6th Thor figures from the actual norse myth with red hair.

I'd get Thorrie in a heartbeat. My favorite Thor design so far.
