Recently purchased (within the past 2 weeks). My order was processed in a timely basis but shipping (USPS) was awful slow (almost two weeks from CA to PA). Not Ekia hobbies fault but next time I'll see if I can upgrade to something faster.
 
Haven't purchased much from them, but they're reliable for sure. Shipping can be a little slow. Also, a little trick I've find is if you leave something in your cart, exit the page, and wait a little, they'll email you an automated 5% off coupon code to use. It's not much but every little bit counts these days.
 
You can also put an item in your cart and at checkout you can chose to pay for it when it’s in stock. Basically you can “reserve” any upcoming figure by doing so and will be notified when it’s available. If you’ve changed your mind you can refuse the purchase. No harm done. I like buying from them and have used them quite a lot. They’re distributor’s and sell to many outlets in the US. 😎👍🏼
 
Would like to thank you all for the replies here as I just placed and order with them for an item that was just released. Still its a PO with them and was a but nervous. Good to know they are reliable as I hate to open PayPal disputes and deal with the process as that really ruins the mood. Have not received the email for the order even now thats been several hours, but downloaded the order as pdf at the end. Emailed them asking about it, so will see how it goes. $409 is not a lil sum I can let slide.
 
You should be good. They have a store front. Visited them a few times. They are on the up and up. Don't purchase much from them; taxes kill any kind of deal I would get.

This unfortunately was not the case with the PO I did yesterday. Had to pay in full. Even today tried to place a new order and could not see such option to pay later.
Hopefully all will go well.
 
I put the new PlayToy Alita roller skater on a pre-order reservation. I didn’t have to put anything down. I received an invoice once she showed up in stock. At that point I chose to pay for the figure. I chose local pickup for my order. I was invoiced for her plus the shipping. I didn’t have to pay anything to reserve the figure. I actually called and spoke directly to Alex who filled me in on how to reserve figures from them.. don’t know why you had to pay for it. Use the “local pickup” option in order to reserve the figure… it certainly worked for me but I reserved her months ago..

They’re a reputable dealer in the US. I’ve been buying from them since 2014. Alex thanked me for my patronage in a message when he sent out Alita.. reserve a pre order by using the local pickup option. That’s how you reserve a figure without paying for it..

Ah..so intuitive. Too late for me though. Already paid up along with the shipping. I have emailed them at [email protected] asking about my order, but due to the Holidays will need to wait a bit. Hope to hear back. Your comments at least bring some reassurance
EDIT: Just tested again, I do not have the option for local pickup..what gives?

You usually have to type in your shipping info on the “shipping: add info” at the cart stage before checking out.
Once you enter your shipping info and hit “estimate shipping,” you should see the top option that says “Store Pickup (For CA Local Customers ONLY!)”

My address is in the Netherlands, so no such option shows up for me 😂 It may be indeed for US-based customers as the notification mentions. Its my first time dealing with that store, and they definitely have things to iron out. No email when I placed an order w/o an account. Then no email when I created an account. Furthermore, the order I placed did not show in the account even though I used the same email address. That is why I got a bit stressed - properly built storefronts work proper like that (as an IT guy I tend to notice these things and get annoyed if something like that does not work). It may be my POV though, then its on me 🤦‍♂️

Well the order won’t show up in your account if you placed the order before you made the account. They’re using the same platform as Toy Anxiety who also can’t add orders to your account if you happen to place an order as a guest vs while logged into your account.

This might sound stupid, but have your checked your spam folders to see if your emails have gone there?

I don’t order from them all the time, but when I have, they were always responsive. I’ve had issues with two orders previously and they straighten them out rather quickly. With it being a holiday weekend, that could be why they haven’t responded to your emails. Though, it is odd to not have gotten the automatic email from placing your order, etc. it would get my anxiety going as well so I don’t blame you. Hopefully you get a response the following week

Alex will straighten this out for you if you ask him to. They’re a solid company and good people to deal with. Whatever issues you have will get resolved. Patience and clear contact.
