Still hope for the deluxe with both of them on sculpted base! After Nathan I cannot wait for them and MGS line.

I'm so excited, but also very nervous to see how much these will cost lol. Are they from game 1 or 2? Also, how do you guys keep up with the figure releases from this series? I had no idea about them until Asta told me just like 5 minutes ago when I was replying to a the Last Survivor CC toys thread looking to get a TLOU Joel, knowing they don't really sell him anymore...but eBay has been very price gauge-y. I was talking to a very friendly kitbash person on Ebay about figuring out how to connect a CC Toys head they're selling to something and getting clothes and stuff, but I'd much rather have one I don't have to build if I can afford it.

I know that's not the thread, but is there any chance you'll make characters not only from MGS but from MGR too?

Oh, okay. I literally read the whole thread now, and it looks like it's designs from 1... Well! Guess if I can buy them, and all goes as planned, I'll have two 1 Ellies, 2 1 Joels, and...maybe at some point I'll get the CC winter Joel one, but probably in parts. Was gonna try that now, especially because the kitbash people were so great with assisting me with a purchase, but I can't have both! XD Anyone have a possible price point for these new 1/6 ones?

They’re usually around the same price, between $200 and $260, for my LIM toys figure I paid $200 something for it

This has become LIM's biggest project, I honestly don't know if an announcement in March is possible but it's still the goal, let's just say it has been expanded beyond what even I originally anticipated.

Either way it's going to be an eventful month and year for TLOU with the show ending, the PC port coming out, possible 1/6 figures from the show on the way and Factions hopefully coming later, it's also going to be the 10th anniversary of the first game in June and what an achievement and impactful experience it continues to be to this day!

So much vagueness and uncertainly lol... I mean, I do genuinely understand and respect that all these types of things, especially with such a popular and beloved franchise, take a lot time and resources and additions and corrections before they get to us, and there's lots of things often beyond control that can even further delay it; I really just mostly wanna know when to have what money by... Still wanting to buy other stuff and needing to pay for other stuff while waiting to have to make payment 2 for other figures you don't know when are dropping, and still being unsure about saving for upcoming ones that we don't know much about either yet is kinda hard...
But I trust it'll all be more than worth the wait! I will do my best to sit tight and...endure.

Preorder deposit for a single figure usually is 25-40$ so if you plan to preorder 2 pack,just put aside 100$

I'd love any context you can safely provide here. I thought these were basically done and ready to be revealed this month? What changed that you may need more time? I can't imagine you'd be changing off the game look to focus on the show look, and since all of the outfits are done and stuff, are you just tweaking sculpts/paint?

What's expanded on this project? And why the expansion? Are you expecting more orders than before because of the success of the show? Or are you just adding more things like a detailed base or extra guns/accessories and such?

Personally I can't help but wonder if you added another character like Tommy or Bill or Tess or something and that might be the delay. But I'm very excited to see what you have planned. Crazy to think this is going to be a bigger project than The Gunslinger.

I believe R_R_X said Joel and Ellie are going to have moving eyes so they are probably working on the sculpts to make them as perfect as possible. I guess moving eyes are challenging.

More accessories, sculpt refinement as well as overall body improvements to make sure these don't have to go through big overhauls like previous figures, maybe a companion piece as well.

Well it was always going to be bigger but it just developed over time, we really want these to be the definitive versions of these characters in this scale.

Thank you for chiming in on this! I know the 1/12 versions have been like $130-$160 and up for me, and someone, I think, mentioned earlier they think these might be $200-260. I am aware that it's likely hard to really tell how exactly to price things when they're are still so much in development, but these kinda sound like the...apocalypse-Mercedes version of Joel and Ellie with all these cool accessories and features, and I just wanna make sure I have the dough I need for these babies! And still, as well, the other babies, the slightly smaller versions.

I saw that Yixie was doing a Ellie and Joel sculpt for a company but good lord if it's Star Ace, they might as well throw those sculpts in the trash right now. Really hope some other company gets it.

Maybe we could get a thread started for the upcoming show figures from a yet unknown company instead of discussing it in the thread specifically dedicated to the game versions? I'm very curious myself to see who's making them.
