Much like the prototype, there is something about this figure that "Wows" me more than their other figures, especially their female figures. I don't know if it's the tailoring on the outfit or if it's the overall proportion, but there is something about this figure that screams 1/1 scale more than their other figures. Something similar to the feeling I get when I see Inart figures, although slightly less so here overall.

You can tell me these are shots of a 1/1 statue of Ahsoka and I would probably believe you. Really impressed with this figure. I think it's them being able to properly scale the details here down to 1/6 better than they have on other figures. The tailoring, proportions and seamless shoulders really help sell this one for me. Really tempted to pick her up. I think the likeness is just slightly off but better than the prototype likeness.

It's gotta be subtly defined shoulder muscles which was similar to those we saw in Dawson.

This and the InART Aragorn are my most anticipated figures to get in hand.

Cheaped out a bit on the lantern not lighting up
Yeah, between the lantern being just painted to appear 'lit up', having no space for the tree diorama base, and already owning two plastic Grogus, I stuck with the regular edition.

If they had done a soft goods Grogu that didn't look like a lawn ornament when the other characters are holding him, then I would have gone deluxe.

I just got my invoice from TBA, and I paid it immediately. Hopefully, they ship today. This is my most anticipated figure. I’m so happy with how she turned out. I can’t wait.

I was wondering what is the tan colored thing seen on her neck. That was absent in The Mandalorian. But I saw a shot from BOBF and that tan color piece was there.

90 degree bend in the arms is pathetic. Hot toys seamless bodies still suck ass. Not gonna stop me from buying this, but still annoying.

Very nice figure overall. But I'll wait for the Ahsoka series. Shame we didn't even get a trailer from the show. Feels like it won't air in 2023.

Because of the fabric covering the lower 2/3 of the arms, there's no reason the elbows even have to be seamless, so I'm curious if the seamless silicone goes past the elbows or if it stops just before them.

really curious about this too. i guess in theory even if it is seamless under there, it wont matter if it gets damaged since it wont show?

seems like people are confident that it’s still coming this year. we’ll probably get a trailer at celebration, that timing would help prevent any issues with potential mando spoilers / competing with their own show too.

I think they’re too slender for electronics is the reason; I remember even in the behind the scenes content for the show, they talked about what a challenge it was to make them illuminate.

And on the figure, with the seamless body and sleeves up to the bicep, couldn’t hide the electronics in the arms either.
Yeah the previous lightsabers had 3mm LEDs inserted in them, and it doesn't look like those would fit inside these hilts. The only thing smaller would be an SMD but I've tried those before and they don't ight up the blade as well. So I'll be surprised if we ever get an Ahsoka figure with light up sabers unfortunately.

I for one am happy no light up features were included in this released. They're ugly, don't last long, annoying to turn on and off, and just helps make a hyperreal figure look more like a toy.

The Pepper pots rescue figure looks super cool with the lights on, but its on batteries, so other than a photo shoot its a bit like whats the point, unless you DIY some wires in. So yeah light up features are cool, but like 99% of the time not really useful in general, for me anyways. Now with the new USB stuff coming out, that seems cool.
Someone mentioned getting their invoice from TBA, which website is that? Also has anyone gotten any signs of Sideshow shipping this anytime soon? I put mine on layaway flex but dont they give you an email asking if you want to pay in full if they get the figure available to ship?

From my experience those lights only last 20 minutes anyway, then you have to buy some new ones.

I also have a hard time getting excited for those USB light ups coming as the wires looks more more than a foot long, so there's little to no point lol, and we don't even know how strong the light will be, well see though.
