I just can't get past that headsculpt. The Harry was a really nice headsculpt under terrible paint, so it could be saved.

Not sure what you could do with that to make it look anything like Clint Eastwood, a repaint can't save it.

Wow yeahh!!!!!

TBH, the Blondie head is actually not bad. The Harry one is also not bad but the hair is very huge. I actually like Blondie better than the Harry and the clothing also looked better in my opinion.

I'm a really big Clint fan and I just can't see him in that headsculpt at all. Its an almost complete miss on every feature, the eyes especially. The Harry figure I can see the likeness, and I don't think that the hair is that big, it's pretty big in the film.

I do think the outfit is decent, but that's not enough for the price. Each to their own though, I'm pleased others like it.

There are positives and negatives on both figures. The silhouette on the SS is by far better. The drape of the poncho is better on SS. However, based on pics, the material looks better on the KO. SS's hat is better. The clothes are tailored better on the SS. I know what SS was going for with the sculpt, but it only really works with the right angle/lighting. The Trevor sculpt is still superior; not perfect but you don't need angles/lighting to get it right.
I'll get mine tomorrow. It'll be nice to compare the KO to SS in person.

I’m a massive Eastwood fan and wasn’t expecting much from the figure but gotta say I’m pleasantly surprised.
The outfit is great and the poncho drapes really well. The head sculpt could be better and would definitely benefit from a repaint but it looks great in the display cabinet. Just started messing with it and added saddle bags and wrist cuff for a Few Dollars More look.

Guys,

Here is a fresh out the box SS Blondie and my review:

+ The clothing rivals my custom clothing. The poncho folds and drapes as well if not better than my custom $$$$$ set. The vest, shirt, pants are all of high quality and you can feel the quality and time SS put into the set. The belt and scarf are also of high detail quality. The only area I would knock points off is the poncho has 2 different colors ( brown on one side and green on the other side) 9/10

+ accessories. You get the gun and rifle and assortment of hands. I do not think you really need the fist hands but it is included with the rock Blondie picks up in one of the scenes. The rifle does not appeared to be of that great of quality . 7/10

+ The head is actually a 9/10. Out the box, you can immediately tell and recognize this is Eastwood at his prime. Does it look cartoonish ? Not at all if you ask me. In fact, it is actually a pretty hard menacing sculpt SS pull off and i think SS actually did ok here. Compare to my custom set, the head might be a few MM smaller. I am taking a few points for the odd neck peg and the slightly smaller size head . You will however not see the neck as the head is in the peg well enough and you will not be able to see 99% of the time the neck peg issues.

+ I was thinking I need to do a full repaint and actually I’m not sure anymore as the factory paint is actually ok after further review 8/10

- the body is definitely a negative. The arms do not drape well and the legs although skinny is not in perfect proportion. 5/10

- the stand is very blend and could add more to it than just a plain black stand 3/10

Overall, I would give this SS Blondie a very solid 8/10

If you are a fan of Eastwood, I would definitely recommend this Blondie. Is it as good as a custom $1,500 Blondie ? Of course it is not but if you can only afford one Blondie and you can’t go the custom game, I would buy this one quickly before it sells out. I have a hunch this SS Blondie will command easily double or tripled after all the stocks are sold out down the road.

Thanks for the pics & review - much appreciated :duff

That's a great review ymba! Thank you. I like this figure plus the Harry Callaghan figure despite it's shortcomings. It's just nice to see a company do figures from some of Clint Eastwood's iconic roles.

Reckon so my friend, waiting for The Outlaw Josey Wales.
