1/6 Star Wars The Mandalorian - 1/6th scale Ahsoka Tano & Grogu Collectible Set

Just checked the HT FB photos. Usual softened in production sculpt but still looks good. Lekku detailing more subtle, very nice. Very glad to have movable eyes...adds some life and expression. Ok...on to the parade of you tube review and photos while we wait....

Yeah the movable eyes is really critical here - I imagine it's a Keaton Batman situation where there's not much head rotation due to the Lekku so the eyes have to compensate.

Tailoring and detailing on the costume is really, really exquisite on this release too I think. More from the blogger photographers:

These look FANTASTIC!!! I'm soooo pumped for this release! I'm torn on how i am going to display her. With or without the cloak. I love the way the figure look with the cloak, with the hood down of course, but it hides so much of the amazing tailoring and detail on her outfit. Good problems to have once she's in hand!

Keep the photo's coming! I'm really hoping she shows up in Mando S3 to tide me over until Ahsoka S1 airs.

Funny enough, when she was first introduced so many years ago in the Clone Wars theatrical movie, i immediately HATED the character. Dare i say i compared her to Jar Jar Binks in terms of how much i was annoyed. After all of these years and character development, Ahsoka has quickly risen to one of my favorite Star Wars characters of all time. Love her stories, her struggles and watching her grow up.

Hahah well TBF she was really annoying at first but her character evolved into one of the best written ones in the whole series.

It more crease overtime it will tear very easily

I don't remember her showing as much sideboob in the show. Those arm holes should be smaller on the outfit, otherwise it looks phenomenal

My main grudge with this release is how the deluxe doesn't have the stand/background from the regular release also.

This is the only release i have ever purchased that i did not opt to go with the deluxe edition. Mostly because i couldn't justify the extra cost for yet another Grogu.

Waiting for the first reviews to pop up, but I'll probably bite

I really wish the lightsaber was usb. I guess its because there was no place to hide the wire up the sleeve. But I honestly wouldn't mind if the wire was just hanging down the bottom of the hilt. They could include both hilt types for those who don't want it.

it would likely be too expensive if they included the usb powered sabers....but it certainly would have been a nice feature if they could figure out a way to hide the wire.

agreed. i preordered deluxe day one but damn I want that cool water base too.

speaking of the deluxe though, this seems to be the first grogu with articulated arms unless i’m forgetting something. glad he’s getting a little update.

I honestly think she looks even better than the prototype. the proto didnt have enough “eyeliner” or something, and the smaller eyes threw it off for me a bit. one of my characters ever so I’m really happy with how this turned out.

Hmm, the likeness was only barely there on the proto, but seems to have been lost completely now. But still, I can't deny it's an awesome looking figure and character design, and something that will probably be impressive as hell in hand.

Edit: ok I got a admit the likeness is actually pretty damn good in those photos above. Not sure what happened with the blogger pics.

She looks great, I'll be waiting for the one from her show though, where they fixed up the Lekku and Montrals a bit.
