This is the last post I’m going to make on this subject of your “solution”. I have no desire to continue keeping this subject alive.
As to your first point, it’s simply my opinion that having a butt-print of michael keaton forever memorized in hard plastic is not only cosmetically bad, but a poor engineering solution. I’ve tried to put that nicely, but for whatever reason, you just don’t seem to get it.
As to your second point, yes, that’s exactly what I’m saying. It’s already been done in the past for at least the 1966 batmobile and it looks fine. If you’re so concerned with “changing the actual specs”, I don’t understand why the installation of a completely foreign, non-spec object is even within your realm of possibilities. If, in your mind, specs are so pure and uncompromising, maybe you should turn your attention to the adjustments on the rear end of the dx09. There are two parts to the fitment equation here, and you’ve completely ignored that component. It would be really impressive to see you post a “how to” adjust the dx09 to fit. I imagine this could be done by altering the structure of the dx09 body, or providing a printing spec that provides for the “dummy pilot” that others have asked for.
As to your third point, you’ve turned what should have been the simple acceptance of criticism from one person on the internet into a situation where it’s an uphill battle to maintain a civil tone. When I say, “no disrespect intended”, that’s exactly what I mean. Quite frankly, if you’re going to publicly float an idea on the internet, it’s not always going to be well received. IMO, it’s incumbent upon the provider to accept the inevitable criticism with somewhat of a thick skin, and have the capacity to support their hypothesis with logic and facts, rather than going after the style of the critique. I expect that anyone in a technical profession has that experience and understands that.
Again, as I originally said, it’s admirable thst you posted a solution. And that’s all I’m going to say about this subject.
