Licensed Tanjiro from Aniplex, 45k yen.

He looks alot better than what was originally was shown but he is way too overpriced. Don’t think I will be able to skip him though

He does looks great, the art style is hard to translate to 3D and they did really well. Price is nuts, though. He should at least come with a Nezuko figure for the backpack if they charge that much. Maybe also the blue kimono thing he wore early in the story

Way overpriced. Aniplex is charging as much as they want since it's their own product much like Bandai charging too much for their Gundam products. Rocket Toys can churn out better looking stuff with better features and accessories for less and they have to pay licensing fees on top of that.

This is how I also feel. Hard to justify 45k yen before shipping on this when RocketToys exists. Supporting Aniplex just feels like I'm kicking myself in the nuts lol

I did the 45K conversion to GB£ earlier & it works out around £280 before shipping & charges but it's great to see people like BBTS getting in on price gouging

I'll wait on the unlicensed ones I think & hope we get Tanjiro as soon as they finish the Hashira...which I'm assuming they are doing this way to fly under the radar a bit longer, I mean getting Tanjiro out first is a sure fire way to get yourselves noticed & a Cease & Desist on the doorstep

I think so too, I contacted Soo Soo about Tengen Uzui as he is my fav and they told me that they are working on him, so I'm sure after the Hashira line up,they'll do Tanjiro and other kids as well.

Forget BBTS for Japanese figures, they overcharge like crazy. That's a $200+ mark-up over the JP price, you can import the figure yourself for a lot less.

Anyone know of any sites selling him that isn't BBTS? Any good import sites selling him?

Yeah I think the best way was to avoid the main characters for a while & see if they could get the line up & running without attracting attention to them

Tengen would be awesome, still need to pre-order the current ones myself but will be getting them.
Glad to hear SooSoo are on the ball with them though, can't wait to keep seeing what they do

You can also directly order from the Aniplex JP site. You would have to use a proxy service though (Zenmarket, Neokyo, etc.). I found this ends up usually the same price or even cheaper in some cases because import stores usually mark them up a bit.
