Mine is almost certainly the thing inside the box I chucked on top of the pile of other boxes in my house this morning.

But the race to see who can be bothered to open their box first still rages on!!

I’m gonna have a nap now instead.

Hopefully in a couple of days..

Opened mine up and it’s a bit of a mixed bag leaning mostly to the positive, which ultimately leaves a good impression but a few tweaks would have made it more of a home run.

Body is a heavy, beefy phicen (as advertised) with some subtle added muscular padding on the upper body.
Articulation isn’t impeded anywhere as the suit is very stretchy and seems pretty durable.
Boots however are just an inflexible and hollow one piece that feel as though they barely plug in to the ankles. They’re also angles with a slight tilt so the figure struggles to stand unassisted without toppling over- which leads to the next negative- no stand. There’s a bat-insignia base with a rectangular cut-out which one assume is a port for a crotch grabber but one is not included. I went through a few of mine and looks like only this sort from the oval stands will fit-

but it’s a wobbly fit so I just stuck a super cheap acrylic pole threw it for the figure to have something to stop it falling backwards.

The headsculpt does what it needs to. It’s a good representation of TDKR Batman. Could use a little more stubble detail for my liking and I think it’s resin so don’t drop it or those little, pointy ears will be gonners.

We get 3 pairs of rubbery hands; clenched fists, open relaxed and one right Batarang/cape holding hand and a wide open left hand. Changing them isn’t as easy as I’d like due to the gauntlets pushing back against you so I’d advise picking the hands you need for before you start posing the figure because you’ll need to grip him hard to shove the hands on.

The cape is gorgeous. It’s very thin and has the perfect texture and drape. These are Jaxon’s bread and butter so I’m not surprised at the high quality.
The only odd aspect is the very high cone shape to which the cape is stitched together at the neck. It leaves a bit too much excess material that can bunch up and spill out under the cow if not managed correctly. I turned the cape inside out and then fed it onto the neck so more fabric was tucked away which helps a bit.

The Superman cape is just a simple piece of fabric with the S symbol printed on. Much more subtle weathering on the symbol than in the promo pics.

The only other accessory is the bat-grappling hook- A batarang with some string tied to it with simple paint apps.

One element I’m especially pleased with is that the chest symbol is the 4-arch version instead of the much less refined and more blocky looking 6-arched alternative. I think Jaxon has made both versions of the symbol in the past so I’m glad he landed on this one for us.

The pouches are sculpted plastic on a very sturdy, stretchy piece of material and the belt has a huge functioning clip buckle at the back.
It wasn’t clear what these would be when the PO went up. Most of the promitional pics showed darker orange, real leather pouches which would have been ideal but that appears to be what SSR will do and may explain why there’s is so much more expensive.

That pretty much covers it.
He’s get some presence and certainly embodies Miller’s Batman.
I’d say he’s slightly overpriced for what you get but it’s understandable coming from presumably a one-man operation so it doesn’t feel egregious and there are a lot of quality elements with just a few little let downs.

Hmmm, I'm thinking that I'm ok that I cancelled this. I thought the pouches would be sewn. Maybe some good custom fodder.

Thanks for the through review and good pics. That's pretty much what I expected. I do see a few areas I can improve, but it's within my expectations

Your pictures look great. I guess I was imagining a greater detail of weathering on the suit. I do think he looks good though. A little disappointed in the lack of ankle mobility but not surprised. Excited to add this guy to the display.

Just opened mine today, not super impressed, even with the cape.

I have a Rovanic, SSR, and now this TDK figure, and this is by far the weakest. Bummer.

Wow great poses and photos! I feel you about the belt. I have the SSR one too so I swapped belts to see how they’d look:
Yeah. That belt looks great on him. But again, for $100+ more, you get leather belt+ unmasked head + Rifle - which is fair.
The biggest reason for me to pick this was the (masked) head sculpt.

Weathered the pouches, painted the buttons on them silver and reduced their waxy shine with a couple coats of Vallejo Matt Varnish. Also, if you want the cape to fit better without bunching up in the back so much, wrap 3-4 layers of cling wrap around the neck before you put the cape over it. Works like a charm!
