In a way, you could use the Dirty Harry head and make a decent Philo Beddoe that would match quite well with the original Bob Peak artwork:

Those movies hold a special place in my heart. Any who.

Anyone have any experience with this head sculpt? Contemplating doing a body swap so I can use it.

That being said, I don't mind this sculpt as much as it seems the general consensus is... It's not bad to me.

I bought it there. Better painted than redmans attempt. If I change Sideshows head and body that will be the head to use.

When is Sideshows Blondie released?

I bought that to try and put together a Roland Deschain figure someday. It looks good, better in hand than in those pics.

Is the Sideshow neck actually part of the body or is it just a neck plug that you can pull off?

Yes, the Sideshow neck is part of the body/chest similar to that of say a TTM19 (not as bulky though). However, even with figures that use their other bodies, Sideshow seems to prefer to separate the head and neck for whatever reason.
Sideshow first look

Thank you for posting. Looks pretty good here. A repaint may help bring out the likeness, though that's something we shouldn't have to do at this price point. The rest of the figure looks pretty solid though. Looks like they still did a split cut boot at the ankle but were able to mask it a bit with the pants and the spurs.

there is something strange about the boots. The lower part looks like plastic, a cut in the midsection to allow movement and in the upper some kind of leather or a different material

Damn, looks pretty great actually. Wasn't planning to pick this up given Sideshow's track record but I might put him with my Lim Toys Gunslinger. I'll wait to see some in hand pics.

A few things are a little surface level for me, like the boots look very flat/plastic, but other parts are really solid. Definitely on my radar now at least.

Edit: Just realized I quoted the wrong post, but you had the video in yours, so I'm sticking to it.

That might be one of the best videos they've ever done for a figure, with some really nice posing throughout. I'm not a giant Clint Eastwood fan but this outfit is so cool and iconic I'm almost tempted to order anyway.

Definitely looks better in that video. Boots do look a bit funky in some angles and the serape looks bulky, but overall not bad. Do love the silhouette of the body. I wish they would have gotten the height right, though.

I'm pleasantly surprised how good this looked in the video. Now the question is...is the body another floppy mess?

Is it still too short? B/c based on pics of the Dirty Harry body, they gave the base body ankle extenders which makes it taller than their other figures that use the same body.

Did not know that. Based on his description on their site he isn't to scale. I hope it is close. The plan is to display him with Tuco and Angel Eyes. Right now Blondie is on a Coomodel 27 and Tuco and Angel Eyes on standard bodies. I can add some height to AE, and Tuco should be slightly shorter, but I can live with it right now. If you are displaying him alone it probably doesn't matter.
