I'm still not convinced I need the new, shiney Mando coming out. I ordered custom thigh armor and a knee pad from Propeteer studios off of ebay and I think I'm good for the season 2 look. This figure still looks great after all.

I didn't have a raging need for shiny armor, but like the fact that Mando is so badass he can hike a desert with tons of gear. :lol

Sort of feel like I have 2 of version 2, because depending on the lighting in the show, he doesn't always look really shiny. But that's OK because I have 2 of version 1, a look I will always like.

Whether I go beyond V3 - probably, but really ratcheted back purchases due to space and budget. For myself there'd be nothing wrong with stopping at V3. For me, mentally, I WAS THERE for an introduction of an amazing and successful entry of a new character into the SW universe, a true badass with a code. It's not easy to successfully introduce a new character or characters that become iconic. Anything else the show comes up with is gonna be a variant of a classic look, whether it's black armor or whatever.

For me - like with Iron Man, past V6 or so - lots of variants, but not sure I liked any of them better (actually, I didn't, stopped at Civil War). LOL I sure don't need the spear that comes with V3 at this point.😁

And that is the one thing I'll be looking for at Toy Anxiety :p. I'll probably just get parts from the set and call it a day but haven't ruled out the full release yet. Mando is the only character that I have/want from the show so having two isn't necessarily a bad thing for me.

Brown. Pleased with how this came out. Quite straightforward to do if you don't mind tearing down your figure. Recommend!

After seeing your results, I decided to give it a try, especially now that I’ve got the chrome version on the way.
Did yours still look pretty gray while it was drying? I washed it for a while with both laundry soap and dish soap, and while I noticed the color of the water change a little bit, the final result isn’t as dramatic as I hope for (at least not yet).
I’m hoping that will change once it’s fully dry?

Mine looked dark brown when it was wet, here’s a photo from straight after I rinsed the soap out;

If yours still looks grey another round of washing might do the trick? I think mine in total was in the soapy water for about 10 mins.

Some laundry detergents have “color fastening” attributes. I wonder if by using laundry soap first you “locked in” the color a bit before the dish soap could remove the excess?? Just a curiosity, I’m definitely not a laundry expert or soap scientist. But I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express some time ago…:)

Ahhhh, yeah, mine is still much more gray comparatively. I’ll give it another washing and try letting it soak longer this time, hopefully that’ll do the trick.

The bonus to this is is that it’s getting a nice water treatment and a lot of futzing when you put everything back together, I reckon.

Got my order from toy anxiety today so gonna start upgrading my figure. Gonna wash out the dye and remove the abundance of weathering from the armor. Only missing a few things, the left shoulder armor, the spear, and I could have grabbed the dark saber but it was $80 so I’ll wait on that. Can’t wait to see how he turns out

Both fat suits modded to remove the bicep/shoulder area. Beskar armor soaked to turn into the more accurate brown color.

Really happy with the beskar mods, hoping to get some custom armor pieces in soon for his season 2 look as the HT doesnt do it for me.

Nicee Pic! :clap Pretty cool seeing the OG juxtaposed with the Beskar suit.

So pretty. So is this the V1 figure with the V2 chrome head or a fully modded V2?
I want to clean my chrome figure when it arrives and then slightly dull the reflectiveness but not sure what method would be best. Will of course be washing the grey out of his flight suit. Come on HT, this colourblindness is not befitting of your status.
