I wonder how the BTTF3 Hot Toys sold, if hot toys would do their own Marty Eastwood
I really doubt it. We’re getting the more iconic look from Hot Toys in my opinion. This version is still fun to have but makes sense as something that a third party would make.

More BttF is always nice. But I probably don't have to mention how fun it would be to have these four on a shelf :p
With a push button chicken sound effect!🤣👏👏

If I were to get a BttF Marty and Doc, I think this would be the pair to get, as I wouldn't really need the DeLorean for the display.

The original release is definitely more iconic but I really prefer how these two look.

Yeah but which Jennifer?

Either or both- I've been looking for a figure that is reasonably comparable, and not really finding a good match... I like the idea of two different heads, but hot toys is not going to do that for such a minor character I think...

I loved Shue's comic timing in Part 2 and she got a lot more to do... but yeah if I had to get a Jennifer it would be the original.
I really like Shue but she was given very little to do, she was asleep, literally, during most of 2/3. I do love the “I’m Old!” “I’m Young!” bit. How they could hire the spunky actress from Adventures In Babysitting and then give her nothing to do is a mystery.

The character of Jennifer didn’t really need to be anything more. It feels like Zemeckis and Gale wrote themselves into a bit of a corner at the end of the first film and had to include her in the second (Marty even asks Doc: then what did you bring her for?). The story was primarily about Marty and Doc with Biff as the antagonist. Works that way.

Yeah I'm sure they would have written the ending of the first movie very differently if they knew a sequel was going to be made. Although I have to admit it never registered with me at the time that they used a completely different actress for Jennifer. It kinda felt like Shue had always been there.

Yes, her lines and parts in both movies were pretty poorly written. But I still liked her in both...

As a kid I recognized the girlfriends changed, just figured he was dating someone new I think. I mean, there were a LOT of "Jennifers" around those days, haha

But yes, I doubt this male dominated franchise is going to consider a female character. I'm sure Biff does stand a better chance.

So I had an etsy seller make me the fashion for Jennifer 1. I thought I could find a head pretty easy, but it proved harder than I thought... there aren't too many sculpts that come anywhere close. Plus the hair is an entire issue in of itself. (I'm no custom artist so I need something that needs very little modification). There is an Emma Watson head that COULD work, but the hair is all wrong. Not too many action figure heads with that mousy blonde color, AND with a side part that can be easily vamped into 1980s hairdo...

They should have hired an upcoming unknown actress for Jennifer in 2/3 rather than hire someone who had already headlined multiple films. I know she probably took it for the experience or the money or something and she was going through her “girlfriend” phase, the year before she was Cruise’s girlfriend in Cocktail. But even that was a bigger role for her. She wasn’t asleep on a bench for most of it.
