Hot Toys - TMS033 & TMS034 - The Mandalorian: Boba Fett (Regular and Deluxe versions)

So tempted to pick up this version of Boba Fett. For once I'm not overly bothered about getting a twin figure set but that one scene where he regains his armour was phenomenal.

While this set may not be setting the world on fire sales-wise (likely due to the disappointment in BOBF), I recently opened one up and found it be a really stellar release! Both figures are pretty darn awesome and have some great shelf presence! Highly recommend- especially if you can grab one during a SS sale!

noticed the gaffi stick is bent in the middle, any advice to fix it?

hot water and then cold? i usually dont mess with this kind of thing but since it’s a HT i want it to be perfect

Yeah heat would be best option but a heat gun might be a better option as you can control the temp better.

I know I’m late to the game but I originally passed on this figure because I didn’t know which Boba I wanted… then I decided I wanted all! Great figure!

The only Boba (of the 3 Mando/BOBF versions) to get in my eyes.

The pre-emasculated Boba. When he still had his balls and was cool in Mando s2, and before they dropped in his own show...

This is certainly an amazing set but I think the Fett Repaint (with throne) is also awesome and worthwhile.

My personal pick if I could only have one. Very impressive on display when set up and worth it for the Mando Season 2 stinger alone.

Disregarding the two pack version, which is incredible, I vastly prefer the repaint armor version over the costume changes in BOBF as well. And it’s odd that the 1/6 version doesn’t include an unhelmeted portrait. Especially since that’s how he looks for like 90% of the show.

I’m pretty happy with having the two pack and throne version of the repaying armor on display, and I’ll be skipping the BOBF version.

The BoBF proto figure looks much better than the repaint throne version in my opinion, and I didn’t like the show. I went to see the Cad Bane proto but instead couldn’t stop looking at the BoBF Boba proto. Who wants the head sculpt anyway, that would just remind me of the show.

I don't think so. I just don't want to see the old, bald and gormless/bewildered looking head in the armour. He had his helmet off almost the whole time, getting advised by that biker gang girl etc.

Yeah, man. That show was just a fever dream of bad decision after bad decision. Except for the mando epsiodes, those were pretty alright.
But I couldn’t take a massive dose of ketamine and dictate a better Boba Fett story while someone writes it down.

But I feel like the new helmet sculpt looks weird on the BOBF version too, even though that’s also show accurate

STUNNING work! Looks fantastic!

Two pack arrived. Couple quick snaps. Really really happy with this guy, super detailing and just has a really great stance/ attitude. Looking forward to shooting properly soon!

Yes I struggled with it a bit. A hair dryer or heat gun is your friend.

Incredible Headsculpt!

My new acquisitions usually spend 2-3 weeks on the desk so i can admire them, try a few poses and then they take their spot in a cabinet. This one has been on my dest for more than three months now. That's how good i find that sculpt. I just can't get enough of it.
