I’m all for that but not a fan the way the wings sit and look droopy there. Maybe a better futzer can make the wings sit “better”?

Maybe I'll go stare at the $500 dollar Kuiil + blurrg again, which I also want; and ask myself how poor I want to be. Those wings (the feathers have some articulation!!!) really pull at me $$$$.

Cmon bro, just accept the fact that you are going to buy this. You know you will be enjoying this in your collection long after you have forgotten about your distaste for the show …yes the wings are AMAZING!!

Here’s a very in-depth look.

The show started off super strong it actually hit a very high point with the tension and drama with US Agent but then they dropped the ball HARD with lame Bucky, lame ex con super soldier story line, lame Zemo and even more lame terrorist villain girl and then crashed and burned with that ridiculous end monologue lol

Way too many lames lol

Love LOVE Falcon’s Cap costume in the show and it translated into figure form perfectly as expected so no surprises there.

This is kind of review I appreciate just for the notion of seeing how these things are assembled, it’s crazy

This figure looks GLORIOUS; not just a fine translation of the costume from the screen but a pretty good translation if you want something comics-based (It’s all about “synergy”, bros). I was going to wait until it hit a decent price (for me) but it seems like it has people buzzing and it might be gone before you know it

Srsly tho it kinda stings, maybe everything's getting tight, but there were some good sales over the holidays.

I was going to wait until it hit a decent price (for me) but it seems like it has people buzzing and it might be gone before you know it

Yep. Hard to say. I'd have thought most EG figs would be long gone, but they kept turning up in sales

Lame Zemo? For me he was a show highlight and picked him up from OSK. Awesome fig at the right price. Just wish I could get his valet.

But yeah, for me, it was something watching one of Marvel's classic characters Bucky - a world class assassin - get reduced to apologetic and at times bumbling; or the snarky Falcon morph into a pompous, empty-the-room-in-30-seconds bore, delivering arguably one of the most cringe speeches in media history. As well as stupidities like a tortured POW supposed to be worrying about civil rights, apparently, while he was in deep freeze, or that Captain America was, apparently, "insensitive". Plus, when the big Cap reveal came, the screen was so dark I had to squint, because the flying Cap might have been a pigeon.

LOL this fig must be good, to have me actually considering, since I'm emotionally scarred. It took a few episodes of Andor before I could fire up D+ without mentally steeling myself.

But d**n the wings on this thing. Gorgeous. Plus the colors just pop$$$$. AND there's a lot of cloth and details in the costume, which I like over the plastic canvas stuff.

Yah gotta understand, WS is my fav Marvel character, along with Cap, and Falcon (and Natasha). I joined D+ coz the show was supposed to release, but then got delayed.

I was expecting the trope badass bromance series. Plenty of snark, plenty of interesting action, plenty of grit. Fast paced, edgy. Season 2 was a given. Then I got boat building, lectures, and side characters running away with the show. WTF who was doing the writing, the Tumblr crowd?

LOL still think the fig looks better than the live action character. It's like it's worth picking this up, just 'coz the wing engineering IMO is pretty impressive. But then I'd have to get Bucky too$$$$, and THEN he's gonna need some weapons upgrades, because. I'd wanna get some guns for Falcon-Cap too.

Any 30 day notices yet for those that have this on PO? I may just buy one direct since prices are generally the same as with Sideshow.

Perhaps "lame" was the wrong word.
What I meant to describe was that this sculpt, or Yondu for example, is fantastic. Arguably both of them are better than any of the Tony Stark, Thor, or Steve Rogers sculpts. Arguably better than the Cavill Superman, or Gadot Wonder Woman sculpts. And they are certainly much better than any Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, or most of the OT Star Wars sculpts.
It bothers me that Hot Toys does not seem to put in the same effort in the more "iconic" characters in the licenses that they own....

And I'm not disparaging Yondu or Sam Wilson as characters. But I don't think anyone could win the argument that either one of them would be considered "iconic" next to the characters I just listed...

Thought I’d have this thing coated with a small layer of dust by now with how quickly sideshow has been receiving things lately. Guess this wasn’t a simultaneous release.

Same. Which is ridiculous considering SS dropped an unboxing video a couple weeks ago, so obviously they have it in-house!

The same thing happened with King Shark. I got a delay notice, then a month later an arrival in warehouse. What a S(hit)ideShow...

I apparently also got the "delayed" notification now.

Those wings are incredible but yeah, I got the delay email as well, this thing turning into Hulkbuster 2.0

I for one cannot believe these delays are still this bad. Is this sideshow specific or has Hot Toys just gotten THAT bad at getting product out? This one will in theory be my final one. Purely based on space and given the fact that unless the MCU/ Star Wars introduces a very compelling new character, then anything released now will simply be variants which I'm not terribly into. This one fills my final Detolf slot. Something new would need to be very compelling enough to upend my display space.

I got the delay email, but couple weeks later that it would be shipped and to have my account correct. This has happened recently with King Shark.

When you see the First Look or Unboxing on Sideshow's YouTube channel, you know shipping is right around the corner.
