Space guns don't have no kickback:D
Nyub-nyub Eechuta is people!

I forgot about no-kickback space guns lol

It’s not always properly depicted as such but blasters do have recoil/kick.

Contrary to the popular belief that they’re lasers, Star Wars weapons like blasters all the way to turbolasers (despite the name) fire physical bolts of Plasma converted from gas.

Did anyone tried to use the Tomy (Gentle Giant) mini helmet for this? Is it even possible? Or is not the same scale?
Quite a few people did use the Tomy helmet and it turned out well. It’s in scale but hard to say how it compares to the HT or SSC helmets unless you can find a side by side shot. Here are some pics I found. Not mine.

I am watching ROTJ again, and it's incredible how you can look at the details more in depth if you have a Hot Toys figure, you develop an eye to look closer.

Here the bike looks closer to the HT released one.

I can even see a little pac-man effect, smaller than the HT but I think the HT can be easily modded to look more like this.

Finally unboxed this and got it up on my shelf (currently changing my display around as I've just spent a month being Santa in his workshop) 😄
It's SO good. I'm having proper 1983 flashbacks of watching Jedi when I was 11 years old (RotJ was *my* Star Wars film as a kid). Love this thing, so much presence. ❤️

I take that back, while gently posing the bendy stand I was wondering why the speeder was wobbling all over the place. Turns out the hexagonal end to the stand that goes into the bike... had snapped off.... inside the bike 🤦🏻‍♂️

Can't be arsed trying to replace it or anything, not even sure if you can take it apart (can't see any screws but haven't looked really), so I'll just leave it wobbly balancing on there lol.

Oh no I got it in ok. At some point while posing it I realised the end itself had snapped off revealing a bare metal wire in the middle which seemed to have also snapped.

The hex top of the stand is now stuck deep inside the body of the bike 🙈

Yeah it was really tight getting it in there. The instructions actually said to make sure you put it all the way in and I wouldn't be surprised if that's when it broke as it was ridiculously tight.

I'll see if I can get hold with some pliers, but honestly it's sitting quite well on there as long as I don't turn it upside down or anything 😄

Cool set...but it really annoys me having that "black rod" holding on to the bike....even Hasbro's speeder one had "clear stands" that mimics the floating on the air effect..

Pros and cons to it. Their articulated flight stand allows for some great posing and it's very solid despite being pretty flexible so no concerns with it.

A clear acrylic rod would be an alternative, but doesn't allow for posing the bike. And an articulated clear support would have limited articulation and would loosen over time with the weight of the bike and figure, leading to some bikes crashing.

Which I suppose is appropriate for Endor but not something you want to worry about.

They could include a clear acrylic rod that works for the stand as an alternative display option, but they tend to not do that sort of thing because money.

Not saying best character, best villain, best whatever...

But a scout on a bike has to be one of the top 5 - if not top 3 - coolest looking characters in SW for me.

Still haven’t even picked up the Scout yet. I really should get around to it soon. As much as I want the bike I’m not sure if I’ll get it unless it goes on sale like the Mando version.

I'm in the same boat as you, when this was first previewed, I was all in on the scout and the bike, but that was before HT previewed all those clone vehicles and the BARC and AT-RT come first for my collection.

I was thinking of getting the Scout during the holidays but with everything going on sale, thought to myself there might be a day in the next 3-4 months that he finds himself (with/without the bike) on sale for 30% off. At this point, just playing the waiting game.

I'll get him, just when will I, is the real question.

waiting on this saved me several $$ and now I’m just waiting on some more RP before I snag that AT-RT.
