I’m just waiting for the day when Inart and HT will really bring on the drama and starting announcing the same figures within a week of each other …

He looks abit thicker than he should be….

HT is definitely watching ebay scalper prices, First Jack now Bane…

Glad to see people will get a versions at a more realistic price.

This year is the 100th anniversary of Warner Bros! Hot Toys is revisiting characters from The Dark Knight Trilogy with multiple features upgraded to improve accuracy.

So, going by this statement, Hot Toys is revisiting TDK-trilogy figures because of WB's 100th anniversary.

Catwoman and Bane are in the works and
seeing that HT already made a Harvey Dent 2.0 a while back, we saw a new and improved Batman in the DX19 and a not so improved Batman Begins figure already released, I wonder which other figures they might revisit this year of anniversary.

I think revisiting is key here so I'm not really expecting to see anything new here, so with the above already made and announced; what's left realistically?

Possibly a Joker later this year when InArt's has been out for a while, I really hope we'll see a new Scarecrow with Crane headsculpt. He's the only villain who made an appearance in all three movies.

But, what then? I'm not sure there is much to improve on their Alfred, Gordon and Blake figures. And to me they aren't as interesting as the aforementioned ones.

Any other ideas?

They already showed us over the summer. It’s going to be another Bale and Keaton.

Keaton Batman 1989 is definitely going to get a 2.0 They’re all about the diorama style based now (see Bane’s) and we saw the Cathedral and Batcomputer at Comic-Con.

They’ll do another Bale Batman with the TDKR Costume chamber and cripple Bruce Wayne with the cane.

This looks like a great upgrade over the first Bane and I'm very curious to see how this new silicone body holds up compared to their releases with seamless bodies, also saw some confusion about the coat and jacket and from what I'm seeing none of it is fake leather so it will hold up just fine over the years.

I don't know why they didn't put this kind of effort in the horrible Batman Begins reissue but seeing this WB anniversary announcement definitely has me curious to see if they're working on a Joker 3.0.

What a slap in the face it would be if they overhaul the DX19 and include it with this 😂

With InArt pressure it feels possible. Their recent Batman releases feel so awkward. They clearly announced them when they felt unchallenged and lazy, now InArt is here and they’re upping their effort making the Batman, figures which should be the centerpiece, seem less than the new releases like Bane.

You know damn well that’s what they’re going to do.

The did it with the jump from DX12 Batman in 2012 to Armory Batman two years later. Improve things just a little, just enough to make you mad.

Remember DX12s light brown eye makeup and derpy smiling and yelling faces, then they pulled the superior Armory head out of their butts to fix those problems. They do it on purpose. If they made a definitive Batman, people would only buy one.

I hope Inart makes Begins suit Batman instead of TDK. Enterbay did that with their Batman and TDK Joker, so did NECA . . .

you dont think this is pleather? Id like to think its not but HT doesnt mention anything anywhere about it so im unsure.

None of it is leather, the motorcycle jacket seems like waxed cotton or something similar to it, the fur coat seems like suede.

I knew the overcoat was suede but was confused about the jacket, But I can clearly see what you're saying in that shot, This makes me feel much better about this release.

They could be using the same fabric for the darker brown jacket that ArtFigures has used for their Edward Scissorhands. Instead of using fake leather for the figure's costume, they used some sort of waxed cotton (or something similar) in order to avoid using pleather.

Someone earlier said this guy is 3/8 of an inch taller than the old Bane. Not sure if that's true yet, but what should Bane's height be relative to Batman based on the movie? I ask the experts in here who certainly know this better than I could figure out.
Bane is huge in the comics. I think they tried to make him big in this one (check scenes with Ben M.) But as usual, Nolan gets lazy and doesn't follow through with it everywhere.
It could happen since they seem to be good buddies.
You're going to see a lot of MCU alum go to DC because of Gunn. Everyone's getting tired of the MCU control and levity. Look at comic Drax vs. MCU Drax. 'Nuff said.

Hot Toys are definitely going in the right direction. I hope they keep chasing and Hot Toys and Inart create a great spar for betterment. Then JND introduce their 1/6, then we will have the Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo fight of yesteryear in 1/6.

Just in time...for me to drop out of collecting.

Economically, this is the worst time to be collecting.

Product wise, this is probably the best time there has ever been to be collecting. The lines between custom and mass produced are becoming extremely blurred, the realism and likeness to prototype through to finished product are becoming extremely close, the wait times and customer relations between multiple studios are becoming the best they've ever been and the healthy competition pushing others is higher than it has ever been.

Hopefully you'll come back to it soon mate. (y)
