You’re literally the only person saying you’re not happy with it enough that it needs reworking. All the other criticism is “yeah the paint needs to be fixed up” or “let’s see a little more detail on his scruff”. There’s not a single person who thinks this looks like Uncharted 3 Nate, or that it’s not good, except for you.

But go ahead and tell others they’re just Lim fanboys that don’t know the game. Bath salts.

And R_R_X literally said wait and see the reveal. That it’s still being worked on.

Don’t buy it if you don’t like it. The sales will be just fine without you. Everyone else can see how great this is going to be. But I guess you can’t please everyone.

You are literally getting worked up over wrinkles lol. Nathan Drake is Nathan Drake. And the headsculpt looks just like him. Once he's on the Uncharted 4 body, it's going to look fantastic.

Are you thinking of Nate in the prologue by any chance?

Because in the main portion of U4 he is in his 30s and isn't and doesn't have a lot of wrinkles aside from some faint ones in his eye bags and forehead which are on the sculpt.


In the prologue which takes place over a decade after the main of events of U4 is when Nate looks noticeably older and wrinkled.

P.S. ppl act like we have seen a better Nate's sculpt. Especially if paint is unfinished there is nothing to complain about. I think it is perfect and I'm 100% sure final one gonna be groundbreaking.

I’m pretty sure Nate is supposed to be like 38 in Uncharted 4, and like 52 when you play as Cassie in the prologue. There are definitely not supposed to be wrinkles in U4’s story.

Apart from needing some more defined stubble (which will be improved for the promo images) it’s looking excellent.

With this image as a way to compare to sculpt with the ingame Nate, I'm wondering if it would maybe look a little better if the hair were a bit lighter.
Does that feel right to anyone else?

Why does it even matter if this sculpt looks younger, middle aged or older? Nathan is Nathan. It's a character, don't need to be based on any specific appearance, even if he'll wear the original none game outfit I won't complain. Likeness is perfect imo, we all have seen what Lim can do with Arthur, I have 2 at home and other 2 on preorder. If this makes me a fanboy yes I am the one. So I'm not worried about anything, just happy and excited. When I love the character I don't really care if the figure represents any specific timeline or appearance. I think most of the fans are like that. When I got MT Lara she doesn't wear anything Lara should wear, but it is still Lara and I'm happy with her. I think we all have to be grateful that after so many years we are getting Nathan. I hope once Prince of Persia remake releases franchise becomes popular again and we gonna get a badass Prince of Persia figure,that's the last character I want in my fav games collection line up.

Yeah Prince is something that I desperately want too.. so I bought the movie HT version till someone make me a good SOT trilogy version.

Otherwise even this Nathan prototype is perfect. I got both sideshows (figure and statue) + the prime 1 deluxe on PO and I'm still most excited for this one from Lim.

Maybe some very minor highlights. I think most of what you're perceiving is the way his hair colour reacts to lighting in the environment. I think they've got the actual base colour right, we're just used to seeing it reflecting/diffusing sunlight or firelight in most scenes.

Man, WTF is up with the POP:SOT remake? I was so excited & it seems to have gone through development hell. That should be such an easy slam dunk for Ubisoft. The game is a masterpiece, all they need to do is exactly the same thing, only newer. I really hope the Montreal studio can hammer it into shape & get it out the door. That game is one that I could play in my sleep after awhile. I lost count how many times I finished it on PS2 & GameCube. I still have the entire musical score burned into my brain. Sooo good. DEFINITELY need figures of the Prince and Farrah.

Ubisoft seems to have missed the memo that other studios are picking up on - people do actually want remakes of older games, provided they're made the right way and not just rushed out the door for a quick buck. I think there's a lot of gamers that want to play their beloved classics with modern engines and graphics, which is evident by how well games other games that got full remakes have been received. Tony Hawk 1+2, Resident Evil 2 and 3 (even though 3 was cut short a bit - there does seem to be hype for the 4 remake still), The Last of Us Part 1, etc.

Just judging by what I've seen around, there seem to be a fair amount of people that would like Ubisoft to remake Assassin's Creed 1 and the Ezio games, and Prince of Persia. Ubisoft has been wrought with microtransactions and pandering to a general audience over protecting the integrity of their IPs in an effort to make more money, so you'd think remaking some games for money in the door would have been sure thing for them, but I guess not.

Few months ago they have confirmed that game is still happening,it was taken away from Montreal and Ubisoft is doing it now. So expect a totally different thing, seems Montreal wasn't really able to develop the game Ubisoft wanted,especially after the backlash they probably decided it would be better if the'd do it. It's a timeless classic imo and definitely needs a refreshing comeback! Warrior Within is my fav part,I'd kill for Warrior Withing figure by Limtoys. I hope one day Prince figure joins to Arthur,Lara,Geralt,Kratos,Alice and Nathan! Even imagining that display in my head gives me chills! lol

P.S. main reason why I hate Assassin's screed franchise is that it replaced Prince of Persia,so I always have that bad taste in my mouth whenever I hear that tittle,first AC game development was started as a new POP game but they changed concept in the middle. So many modern games stole things from POP and nobody gives it credit.
Just checked if any game was available on Playstation store and when I searched ''Prince of Persia'', God of War showed up lol

Seamless wrist/arms. Been hoping and suggesting it since day 1 so I'm happy to see you guys giving it a shot with Nathen and Joel.

Really pushes the figure to the next level! Also love how sharp and detailed the accessories are. The grappling hook and his little pouch on his hip looks really good and in scale. Can't wait to see the full reveal.

Will he be coming with a cool base or just a normal flat one? Not sure how crazy you guys are going with the bases with him but wanted to do some cool hanging pose with him if the base allowed it like how Prime 1 did their statue.
