Toys Batallion Wong: Getting the Band Back Together

I got my Wong figure from OSK yesterday. It was a bare-bones figure at a good price, with good details. He could have come with more gesturing hands, but other than that, I am happy with the figure. I was glad some third party agreed to tackle him, as his character is very important to me. Gathering up the group from the Dr. Strange universe, I was surprised that only 4 characters have been made so far, with Strange being the solely licensed figure

Your call, but his lower tunic is meant to be folded back to reveal the yellow; it's how he wears it in MoM.

Thanks for that image! I tried to get his gown in that configuration, and it is hard! Any advice/directions? did you use a pin or any type of adhesive?

You can just bring it up and over and tuck it for a big triangle, but I wanted that double fold that appears in the movie.



I was initially able to get the fabric held in that position just by tucking it under the belt/side-flap area, but at the bottom it puffed out too much for my liking. And it threatened to come loose if I moved him. So in the end I used a few dots of Fabri-tac to strategically hold everything in place.

My next plan is to find a gold string to do those three lines on the collar.
