yes it does need to be washed to get the extra dye out.

I have this paired with my ESB Vader as well. I know some people have issues with 429's proportions--but it still looks great if posed correctly and using clever angles.

Put the Hot Toys sculpt on the Sideshow Luke Deluxe body. Needs some futzing but I prefer it over the HT version. Hot Toys' shirt is too padded and baggy IMO and looks almost like he's wearing a sweater than a shirt. Sideshow's tailoring is nice and sharp and the flap looks great with the magnets, though the collar is not very accurate.
And the sculpted split-cut boots are a great addition over HT's pleather ones.

Thanks! The Sideshow peg was a bit smaller so the head was loose. I put some bluetac on it and now it's snug.
I am looking for a body replacement now. I'm thinking Worldbox AT020/25 but I'd probably need to modify it to make it shorter. Any recommendations?

Looks like Luke just noticed the new Mando/Bespin Luke sculpt being set up in the detolf next door, Palps is laughing at Luke's reaction and Anakin below is trying hard not to laugh.
We really should ban pics of the new facesculpt put on this figure/hairpiece - the existing facesculpt is fine even though the new one is an upgrade.
