I am all for seeing someone new that could force Hot Toys to up their game (I have four InArt figures on preorder), but be prepared for Hot Toys to raise their prices in order for that to happen.

The best "apples to apples" comparison is the base The Batman figure. The standard HT version is $300 and the standard InArt version is $400.
Yeah I have essentially said this in other threads. InArt and HT are simply targeting different markets of collectors. Sure there will always be minor competition here and there like innovation/changes in figures and maybe licensing. But don't expect anything direct from both of them any time soon. It's healthy for the hobby, I hate this tribalism thing a lot of people has going on since InArt came to the scene.

Back on topic...I wonder if they're also gonna reissue the Camo Tumbler now

Think it looks really good, the body especially the bicep/tricep/arm pit area is very well done. If I were collecting HT I'd definitely pick this one up. I'm smelling a Joker around the corner.

Question is, will it be HT's first foray into rooted hair? Hmm.

Wonder if that could pull me back in.

I'm guessing they may go after the IA sculpted version - Think Dx11 with 2 new sculpts, better coat, new taller body, and most of the accessories that came with that set for around $350.

Dang. I’d easily get it for that price. Crazy how much more these figures cost in the US.
Wait to you see what happens to the price in other countries that are supplied by Sideshow... and if we buy them from Sideshow directly, add DHL postage for $50 and then a 10% tax (for Australia) on the total and we're now at US $390...

One of the things holding me back from this release is I’m not as big of a Nolan Batman fan as I once was. If it would have come out like five years ago I probably would have pre-ordered instantly.

Current me likes The Dark Knight Trilogy but I’m kind of over it (aside from Batman Begins which I still love).

Still thinking it over. Again though not a figure I’ll be ordering anytime soon and I’ll wait until closer to release if anything.

They’re like two restaurants next to each other in the same mall.

They both serve food but in different styles and at different price points.

There’s overlap in customers who walk by hungry so they complete in some ways but their target audiences are a little different so they also draw in different people.

Some people will only go to one, some will go to both. But we are all better off for having that choice and for the healthy competition that exists now.

I have the original but this one looks so much better.

What's the chances we get an updated Scarecrow with Crane HS  and it would be nice to finally get a Ra's.
I would love a new Scarecrow with a separate Crane sculpt.

I never got the original HT Bane... but I'll admit I am tempted by this much improved version. I just wish I liked the movie and the character's voice more. But no doubt it is a great looking figure, especially with all the jacket choices.
I think the movie is pretty good and for some reason I have loved the voice ever since seeing TDKR for the first time.

Never had the original Bane either, but this is very tempting.

Looking way better than the first one I bought. Do we know for sure Inart is doing Nolan batman movies? Because if they are, I will definitely wait.

I have the original HT Scarecrow which I love, but it was such a bare bones release. Hopefully they revisit him and do the character justice.
That's the one that came with the Demon Bat, right?

I always really liked the look of that figure, but I never picked it up because of the Demon which I didn't have any use for.

I'd love to see a Batman Begins version with both a Crane and a Scarecrow sculpt and accessories like the briefcase, a loose mask and one of those stuffed bunnies. They also need to throw in de straightjacket again.
