I'll pick this one up down the line when I have some rewards. I've got a 3rd party version that I put together with an M35 body and I'm pretty content with it, but this one is definitely better. It's just that I know it'll be 18 months from now... So I'll get it for cheap when the time is right.

Not trying to stir the pot, but for this character, what more could we realistically expect from InArt, comparably? Like this will more than do the trick, and then some.

Nothing. They'd be smart to scrap any plans of making this guy if they had any.

They never said that they're doing a Bane and probably won't after seeing this. John just said that Bane is something that he would personally like to see from the team.

They would probably throw in the motorcycle delivery outfit w/helmet. I don't know what to expect from InArt regarding seamless.

A body that hides the wrist peg seam, a better head sculpt (maybe), probably a very questionable body durability wise. Real leather, the sweatshirt that should have been included and diecast Diorama most likely

This new one or the original? Can’t imagine the new one would be that cheap.
This is the new one it's around $210-230 depends on conversion.

It's posted for HK$1,930 ~ $250 on Secret Base, but I was quoted for the $210 by my usual HK seller here in Asia

Does every thread have to turn into Hot Toys versus InArt now? Getting kinda old.
I say yes and we should probably get use to it. InArt is the first 1/6 company since HT became "king of the 1/6 market" that I think devoted HT buyers are actually recognizing as meeting or surpassing HT sculpt and quality and purchasing them.

It will only be good for the hobby if HT feels pressure of fans highly complementing InArt and buying InArt figures instead of HT. Might encourage HT to up the ante. The only downside is that InArt is not cheaper than HT, so in the price department, HT won't be lowering prices to compete.

Still going to sell my DX19 in favor of the future InArt figure in TDK suit though.

Well HT has made its money from us and I doubt that selling it off would matter to them. Lol!

Inart will come out with rooted armpits for their Bane and incomprehensible muffled voice feature. 🤣

“You think darkness is your ally. But you merely adopted the dark... by the way, you have some polyps up there. You may want to have those checked.”

I am all for seeing someone new that could force Hot Toys to up their game (I have four InArt figures on preorder), but be prepared for Hot Toys to raise their prices in order for that to happen.

The best "apples to apples" comparison is the base The Batman figure. The standard HT version is $300 and the standard InArt version is $400.

Dang. I’d easily get it for that price. Crazy how much more these figures cost in the US.

No interest but this is how you do a 2.0! Pretty impressive and I hope this kind of seamless body makes it into more figures where it's appropriate (assuming they hold up).

One interesting thing I caught is that the gauntlet on his right hand is seamless, the glove isn't sculpted onto the hands (you can see all of the right hands are bare in the overview image). So changing out the right hand will involve ungloving it but it looks really nice.

What the **** happened to Sideshows website?! I thought I was on some third party scam website for a minute there. This new layout is terrible.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Looking at more pics, the seamless arms, the sculpt, the clothes, all of it loos great. But for me, the best part is the legs. I've always hated the toothpick legs of the original.

Looks nice and is a clear improvement on the first one....
I should really want this, but I'm surprised by my lack of enthusiasm
If I was peeing money I would probably get this, but for the moment I am not feeling that pull towards this figure.

Honestly I'm pretty shocked by the sheer indifference I feel toward this release - on paper I should feel something but I don't.

Also Sideshow's website looks ******* awful
