That's just his head shape.... your edit looks even less accurate TBH.

I'm just glad to have a Bane I can display without the coat. The coat looks too bulky on this new one anyways.

New body looks great.
Yep Hot Toys are definitely looking at what InArt are doing. InArt are also doing separate bodies for each figure. This can only be using similar tech to get the proportions right. I think InArt also mentioned that they are using metal skeletons.

Even the diorama base looks similar to InArt's.

Anyway it's great for us all that there is some competition which forces Hot Toys to lift their game. Otherwise I'm sure we would have gotten a 2,0 Bane with nothing different to the 1,0 version.

I do have the MToys set. I'll have to wait and see if it fits this body. But then again there is always the SKing one (Daftoy "recast") that was tailored for M34/35 so that might fit this body
one thing im excited to see with this release is they make him taller since scaling is off with hot toys and everything seems to get bigger and bigger. the height for m34/35 is outdated now with current market for 1/6 figures. hopefully the shirt fits but judging by initial pictures, he looks BIG and wide but maybe that's a good thing if the shirt stretches, will make his muscles look bigger

Rises is the one I find myself wanting to rewatch the most. Never understood the criticism of it and it always felt in bad faith, people saying **** like “hOw DiD bRucE WayNe Get bAck To GothAm? THIS MOVIE IS UNWATCHABLE”.
I'm with you, I love this movie. 1.7m ratings on IMDb give it a score of 8.4/10, so it seems like the general audience likes it too.

I've probably watched it more than Begins and TDK aswell.

Bit of a paradox, the film frustrates me greatly and yet I seem to find it compelling enough to have seen it so many times. I thought Bane was great, I only didn't like how he ended in the film. Best soundtrack of the three films IMO.

Well well well...the concept of having an entire Dark Knight shelf is becoming far more likely. InArt Joker...InArt Bale Batman...Queen Studios Catwoman 1/6 on Batpod AND now this guy? I know others have said it but my goodness if we could get a Neeson Ra's...

Very interested. Unlikely I'll buy until in stock but this definitely intrigues me. I think we'll know more about these 'new silicone bodies' in the coming months, well before his release.

I will say I totally understand any complaints about The Dark Knight trilogy getting all the spotlight. I'm certainly hoping that the '100 Years of Warner Bros' teased in the caption is not ONLY these 2.0s, but having only come into this hobby with the Man Of Steel line, I missed all of these. Nolan's Batman, Joker, Catwoman...all of these are my personal favourite incarnations of these characters in live action. So I'm thrilled to see them get the treatment they deserve by Queen, and at least this Bane from Hot Toys.

But yeah...it'd be nice if Prime 1 wasn't the only company that cared about Keaton Batman right now.

Lmao just bought Bane last week, but I like this one too. I can have two. The older one can be jacket on for his speech, and the new one can be shirtless to break Bale's back. I'm curious to see if they do Joker 3.0. I already have the inart on order, but I wouldn't mind 3.0 to set him up with the desk and chair for the interrogation. The inart will be used for machine gun against the batpod.

Biggest mistake I made with this movie was watching it directly after TDK one night. I was so pumped after that one ended I thought let's carry on the fun but oh boy, does it pale in immediate comparison. That was easily five years ago and I haven't felt the need to see it again since.

I'm still a fan of the trilogy and this iteration of Bane and this is clearly Hot Toys attempting to up their game so as not to fully lose DC/WB fans to InArt.
It's a very good attempt but I won't be PO'ing for awhile at the very least. Gonna wait and see what InArt as to say. As Bane isn't one of my most beloved characters, a Hot Toy of him will suffice for the collection and this has enough going for it to not stand out as obviously inferior among the IA stuff I will have.

Price is definitely gonna be high with this one. PERS system, brand new large sillicone body with a metal skeleton, two jackets, a big diorama... $350 easy. At that price, we've hit InArt territory so definitely worth hearing if this impacts their desire to make a Bane in the near future.

This actually looks pretty darn good! A definite improvement over the original unlike poor Batman Begins. Glad I never bought any of the third party offerings. Those never looked quite right on the M34/35 bodies especially with the jacket on.

Still going to sell my DX19 in favor of the future InArt figure in TDK suit though.
I put my OG Bane on an M34 and think it looks great, almost identical to this one IMO.

This does look quite good. It's also 1cm (a bit over 3/8") taller than the previous version, so between that and the extra bulk he should look more imposing than the initial release. But given that years ago I upgraded one of those with the old Chris Redfield body with seamless arms, I don't know if I'll bother with this one. But if I do I'll put the bank heist jacket on that, leave the OG Bane in the brown coat and have this one in just the combat vest.
