Hot Toys Back to the Future II - 1/6th scale DeLorean Time Machine

My first thought was ‘damn, that’s a happy man.’ Why can’t I ever feel like that?!

HT’s lack of consideration for discreetly concealing the usb cable in flight display doesn’t surprise me at all.
I’ll be getting a right-angled male end cable to feed along the undercarriage and run behind one of the stand supports to keep it as hidden as possible.

Yeah that's pretty annoying. Even a right angle cable is probably going to stand out a lot more than it should.

And of course still not loving how the wheel lights seem to shine a whole lot brighter from above than below.

I am happy that you can have the front and back lights on seperately from the other lights. The batteries will be fine for me but I wonder how long they can remain on with just the batteries

Keep dreaming for an InArt Delorean. Never going to happen imo.

Sounds like they're moving forward with the 2022 Bat Bike though. No idea why.

John just said that they're currently also working on the Batmobile and that the Delorean is still on the list. Just wasn't sure on the timeline for it if it was for this year or next.

Proper scale means larger.
Made of metal means obscenely heavy.
The shipping alone would put this out of most peoples’ budgets.

I think inart is going to make a delorean and it will be considerably better. But I also think it won't happen for at least another 3 years so Im still going to get this one and if Inart makes one Ill get that one too.

I’ll believe a InArt Delorean when I see it.

For now I can see a delivery plan of my improved Hot Toys version right now !

Even that took years and years from a prototype being shown. When was that ? Like at least 5 years ago.

Lights on the wheels from above is not a deal breaker. Can’t wait to get this even tho I have no space. Lol

Just got this! I'm excited for it. From all 3 movies and versions, that's THE DeLorean to have.

Are we expecting some mods for this like people made it for the first version? I remember people making license plates, light up features and son on. Anything in the horizon for it?

People can be on the InArt train all they want and I want to buy a figure or two from them eventually, but I imagine a DeLorean by them would probably be minimum $2,000 if not even more. I barely want to spend the $825 plus tax and shipping on this one.

Price is really not my issue either, where to put this is a problem though. If 9nly my girlfriend would move out or something....

Where tf are all the reviews. Only one guy yet and he could not even remember to assemble the car

His review was really brief, I was hoping to see more details and up close shots.

Yeah he breezed through it pretty quick. Hopefully when MRC does his review it'll be more in-depth. And in more low light so you can see the interior lights better.
