Random question, but how are some of you able to curse? I've tried writing sh.it before and it automatically got censored. I see IronPatriotFTW dropping the big F bomb and he's fine...very odd how the algorithm works lol.

I don’t understand this from a business angle.
I get wanting to pressure people to order it ASAP, sure.
But the exclusive is an incentive for people to buy from them directly. Wouldn’t you want it to be available for as long as possible?
Some people wait for various reasons (rewards, Christmas gift cards, coupons, in-hand impressions etc.) to order. If the exclusive were available for those late comers that want it, they’d capture those sales, too.
Now they’re going to come back, see the exclusive is gone, and potentially go somewhere else.
They are really just trying to chase short term goals nowadays with everything from this to expiring rewards to selling a ton of mishmashed lower priced tat no one wants.
Yikes. Never a good sign of a company.

The fact that they are actively trying to shut down Hong Kong sellers shows you they are rather desperate. They don't really have a plan other than to shut down competitors. Kinda pathetic and shows 0 business acumen.

Waitlist Full for the EX…WoW!
All of the "timed" exclusives went to "waitlist full." It's a tactic obviously. I do wonder if they're really cutting it off completely.

The Black Widow black suit exclusive waitlist is still available to join!
If they were not cutting them off then they would have left the waitlist open to get more orders. Then they could convert them later. With it full they are not selling anymore exclusives.
Isn't Sideshow's goal is to get more orders in through direct sales rather than through other retailers? Having those exclusives was their only advantage over the retailers they supply.
They put that fake timer and when that ended, those items were still available until everything went to waitlist.
I have no idea what their goals are. There are still dozens of other Hot Toys with exclusives available to PO with more being added every week so i doubt cutting it off early hurt them much. I would actually be suprised if they didn't get a massive sales boost from it and plenty of people will still buy the regular versions from them.

After initially canceling my preorder on this, I just caved and reordered. I had some Sideshow rewards that I wanted to use so I could exit them going forward. (The stealth cap debacle put the nail in the coffin for me with Sideshow).
Funny thing is, my main motivation for buying the figure was for its accessories and not as a figure representation. An expensive way to go most likely, but I wanted the nano floating blasters and the nano arm cannons to pair with my Mk50. Always wanted to represent the Ebony Maw, Tony, Bruce Banner scene. I was also hoping that I could use the battle damaged headsculpt on my Dr. Strange Infinity War figure, but after checking out reviews the neck post is totally different and wont fit. :-( .
Maybe I can sell on the remaining figure without those additional accessories to claw back some of the high cost for this figure. perhaps I will have a better chance to sell what’s left, now that I will not be using the headsculpt, so it will be more of a complete stand alone figure.
Anyone else bought this or is tempted to buy this just for the accessorie?

This can also be just the regular mk 50 helmeted version with the chest plate swap I guess, so in that respect it would have been worth picking up if I didnt have the mk 50 already.
